Build The Last Of Us

My 5th and final build of 2017. This plot was built by me and @FrozenJelly_ .

From the title, the theme was The Last of Us, or technically 20 years later. I took some referencing from the Survival Games 2 map too, because it has a great overgrown city build.

Some background information:
Continental United States was ravaged by a virus(not a parasite unlike the game) epidemic from many sources all across the country. A strain of virus came out from the hospital, but was put under control rather quickly. The event that managed to bring back an uncontrollable outbreak was from the crashed plane, which probably took off from another city with the virus on board. The military then conducted bombing runs in an attempt to kill off any infected but their numbers were simply too big. In the end, the military tried to set up a quarantine zone at the train station, nuclear power plant, and highway, but only managed to maintain operations for a few weeks before succumbing to the infected. And now 20 years later, there's absolutely no signs of human presence anywhere, and nature has finally taken it back.

 

When I saw “plot,” I thought of some little 30x30 square with a small amount of terrain, and maybe 2 builds. But this? This is really cool. Great job!

Yeah, the entire leaning tower was made by hand. It was inspired from the Survival Games 2 map:

I knew it was based off that map before you even said it, i love how you captured the vibe of it without copying anything,

lol i remember on the hive having 2 hunger bars getting caught on vines then eventually dying. i miss 2013 and 2014 era survival games

 

There are some parts that have a large amount of detail and others look plain. Like in picture 3
If you have the time, add some more texture to the walls and stuff. Just make it look as good as possible, but it's already a very well made build as it is!

 

As others have said, the leaning towers is absolutely breathtaking. How do you do something like that?

 

Holy shit I didn't think this would be something shared in here. That's really good, I don't understand how people can create builds that are this amazing.
