Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Fine, thank you. How about yourself?"

 

"I guess I'm just not a dryad." Artemis says, chuckling.

 

"But you're all plant-y and you have a bow and flowers and everything! Doesn't that make you a dryad?" The faerie asks, confused.

 

"I'm technically a hybrid guardian of forest and death, but they're both sort of centered around the same sort of element so I can act as either." Artemis says, tapping her necklace and changing to her death guardian form, eyes and hair darkening in colour and vampire-esce teeth growing sharp.

 

The faerie darts away, panicking more when she finds that the portal closed.

 

"Eve, can you take the faerie home?" I ask.

"Certainly," Eve replies, walking over to the faerie, "Please come with me."

 

She stays close to Eve, keeping an eye on Artemis.

 

Artemis just changes back to her forest guardian form as Eve guides the faerie to a nearby elevator.

 

Alice seperates from you.
"That Gaia really doesn't like us shadows." She comments.

 

"You really need to stop doing that, I might end up making out with Artemis again while you're inside me." I say.

"Ugh." I say a moment later, grossed out.

 

"I might need a better bow, but I don't see any. Those chakrams look nice though."

 

I reach out to the goddess that granted me my current place.

 

"Make it illegal and I might." Alice grunts. "There's a reason I only do it when you're not planning on making out."

Though rare, you get a response.
"...Yes, Leon?" Idhaenna asks.

"Bows are down in the basement, along with arrows."

 

"You never know when I might choose to make out with Artemis, I might make out with her right now!" I say.

"No..." Artemis says, not in the mood.

"Well, ok, but I could have done!" I say.

 

“My people are in desperate need of my rule. I have received a prayer in hope that I return to end the tyrant’s cruelty.”

 

"Can I see them?"

 

"If you don't have the decency to make out in private, then you're right, I'll never know when you might choose to make out with her. If you do have the decency, then I know to leave as you head to a secluded area."

"Are you saying that you are not satisfied with the stars? You were the one that came to me for it..."

"Of course. Stairs are to the left." The guard says, shrugging.

 

"I'm not really one for public shows of affection." Artemis admits.

 

"Then I'm not going to be witness to a love session. Is it wrong for me to be concerned with my king's safety?"

 

Artemis and I share an awkward glance.

"We're not moving that quickly." I say.
