Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"That's why I'm here. Don't worry, I'll sort it out. Now, do you know where the elder is? I must speak to him."

 

She seems to be looking into the Realm of Light.

"Don't go crazy, there's a reason this place is heavily guarded." The guard reminds.

"Elder Solis is meditating, but if you wait outside his hut, you should be his first task after he finishes."

 

"Mistress, you have guests." Eve says, imitating Emerald's voice.

 

Xlentia turns.
"Oh, hello. Let me guess - you're thinking about meeting Gaia?"

 

"Oh. Right. Apoligies."
He calms down, although still amazed by all the weapons.

 

"So... any ideas what you'd want to upgrade to in the future?"

 

"Aj informed me you'd opened a portal to her palace." Artemis says, smiling.

 

"Yes, the portal room now has a dial. Turn it, and you can switch the portals between palaces and my realms."

 

"Huh, that seems efficient." I comment.

"Thank you for your time, Xlentia." Eve says respectfully as she turns to leave.

 

Xlentia nods.
"Give her my regards, please."

 

"We shall." I say as Artemis and I follow Eve out.

Eve turns around and rolls a hollow glass orb with something inside it back toward Xlentia before continuing onward.

 

"I see. Thank you, Lara. Take care now."

 

Xlentia looks at the orb, curious.


The portal room dial seems to be a lever, not a dial.
Xlentia's intellect seems to still be questionable.

She nods, waving before taking off and vanishing above the canopy.

The rest of the village is quiet.

 

There appears to be a small cookie in the shape of a heart inside it.


I walk up to the lever and pull it.

 

The portal room flashes, a single green portal visible leading to another massive hallway.

 

The trio walks through, Eve taking the lead.

 

They step out onto a solid stone floor, vines and flowers twisting and grown to form massive works of art.
Elves, centaur, and fae move about the halls, Xlentia-sized double doors at the end of the hallway.

 

Artemis looks at the stone floor to see what it's made out of as Eve walks toward the double doors, myself taking in the artwork.

 

It's one solid slab of purple quartz. It's rather beautiful.

The double doors creak open as a collosal stone chimera-like golem peeks out, looking concerned.

 

I walk up to the Elders house, as I marvel at the lack of sound around me
