Dez:"I say we hide" I start carefully entering the building

 

I follow close behind and look back to see if anyone is following us.

 

I head to the room on the right, examining the chest.

 

Oh hello.

 

Eradius: "Hey, buddy! Can you move?"

 

Oh sorry about that. (Moves out of way)

I buy myself a drink.

 

The warehouse appears to be for a logging company of some sort. Massive bundles of wood laid in rows obscures most of the building.
The man is gone, having got up sometime while you were talking. However, his bag is still on the ground in the center of the warehouse, half open.

It's quiet. Too quiet.

The chest is old, clearly. It's made of a very dark wood, with a heavy silver trim. Trying to open it, you're met with little success. There's a massive lock on the hinge, and you cannot find the key lying around.
Hmm? What's that sound?
An open door, and creaking. Somebody's entered the house.

Bartender: "Hmm? Which drink? The cheap, watered down kind, or the strong Fog Coast stuff you like so much?"

Welp. That happened. It's at this point that you note your inability to see Leon anywhere. He seems to have left the building. Looks like you're on your own for a bit.

 

Dez"Keep your guard up, I have a feeling that we're not alone" I go to check the bag and having a feeling that it's a trap I'll hold counterspell

 

I hide.

 

I'll just go ask the bartender for a map or at least Kyre.

 

Eradius: "You want me to buy your brew or not?" I get the Fog Coast.

 

You look inside the bag. Inside lies... nothing?

From somewhere inside the building, you can just barely hear somebody utter the word "Field".

Squeezing yourself into a small and secluded nook, you listen as footsteps ominously ascend the stairs. The person pauses for a bit, before speaking in a very nasal and mood-killing voice.
"Abandoned. Either I get loot, or am haunted for the rest of my days. This'll be fun."

Bartender: "...We sell drinks, rooms, and some light meals here. If you want a map, you'll need a cartographer, and the merchants don't roll in until spring."

Bartender: "Sorry about that, does the guy think we're some kind of.. Ah, well. Here you go."

I try getting drunk.

 

I look around and leap to the hostile that said this. With the leap, I follow up with a grapple.

 

I yell out
Dez:"Leren come out we know your here"
If hes stupid enough to actually come out I'll attempt to charm him


OOC:by being lizardfolk would dez know some kind of native lizard language?

 

If anyone comes out, I refrain from doing the above.

 

Thorston makes a faint evil laugh.

 

Presumably. It very much depends on your locale of origin, as I already have some vague cultures, with 2 different areas that a lizardman could plausibly originate from.

Draining the tankard, you start with a pleasant buzzing, eventually working your way up to guaranteed-hangover status.

For some reason, gravity triples, making it incredibly hard to move. A middle-aged man in a white cloak emerges from the shadows. For Leon, it's unmistakably him.
Leren: "I wouldn't think you'd be this s-"
Despite the increased strain, It appears Dez has managed to nab him with the charm person. Or at least he should have.
"Ring of Spell Resistance. There used to be a time where someone could comfortably monologue, you know."

Whoever made the voice has entered the room. He looks like a dark-skinned man with a very large and thick scarf, along with some kind of sigil or charm around his neck. He doesn't appear to see you, and moves over to the chest. Looks like he can't open it either. He exits the room.
