Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Crystal frowns, but says in his position.

 

You're left to your own devices... For now, at least.

 

"I'll just stay for a while. I want to know how this ends."
He crosses his arms and watches the scene.

 

Nobody else appears to be around.

I head to the portal room in the Shadow Palace, opening a portal to Earth and walking through.

 

Crystal waits for the armored Shadow to come back.

 

One by one the people are escorted out of the building, and no questions seem to actually get answered. The officers are starting to get frustrated with the complete lack of cooperation, though one seems just about used to it.

Xlentia peeks out at the Realm of Shadows, watching the city mill about.

 

"So what's the damage?" He asks the innkeeper, looking around the breakfast room.

 

Just about every table and chair is broken, and a few windows are broken as well.
"...Pretty much the entire room."

 

The armoured Shadow doesn't return, though Crystal notices the sun has begin to set.

A few people notice Xlentia and freak out, some getting on their knees and praying as they bow their heads. Other Shadows just give them odd looks, passing them by.

 

Crystal, upset, starts making his way to the entrance of the palace.

 

Xlentia smiles, seeming to relax a bit.

 

Crystal passes by a few more forest guardians and faeries on his way, including the young forest guardian he saw earlier, staying close to an older forest guardian, presumably her father.

Xlentia notices a particular robot flying over the city, heading toward the large colosseum near it's outskirts.

 

"Need some help cleaning?"

 

Crystal glances towards the girl before looking away, continuing to walk.

 

The girl doesn't seem to notice him, happy with her father.

 

Crystal just keeps walking, not looking at the girl.

 

Crystal eventually arrives in the front part of the palace gardens, the entrance close by.

 

Crystal looks back before continuing to go forward, as Voidfiller falls from the sky out of a portal in front of the entrance, landing on his stomach with an "Oof."

 

A few guards keep an eye on voidfiller, suspicious.

 

Xlentia keeps an eye on the robot, curious.

"No, we've got that covered. Thanks for the offer, though."

I think we're starting to test his patience. Maybe we should just leave.
