The wheel still looks surprisingly new, sharpening the claws quite efficiently.

 

He walks around the corner.
"Okay. So what is all this chaos about!? I heard some people were causing trouble in the breakfast room!"

 

Ruby goes back to Vexa.
"This okay for the visit?" She asks, dulling Abigail's senses.

Nobody can hear you, a large group of people trying to wrestle their way to a fight in the middle of the group.

 

"It's perfect." Vexa says happily.

 

"Sweet. Where should I put it?" Ruby asks, smiling (for once).

 

"You can just leave it on the workbench, I'll put it up in a bit." Vexa says.

 

Ruby nods, leaving it on the workbench as told and opening a portal to Xlentia's Palace.
"I'll try and make it back soon. Thanks, boss!" Ruby says, portal closing as she heads through.

 

Vexa waves happily.

 

-Meanwhile-

Rineth approaches the gates of the Shadow Palace.
"Do you know if your king and his friends have recovered yet?" He asks, seeming only slightly concerned.

 

"They've recovered, but are being kept here for safety reasons for a short while." One of the guards says.

 

He pushes himself through the crowd, looking at what's going on.

 

“How many people are out to get you?”

 

"i-i dont know, b-but where i used to l-live, everyone wanted me d-dead" Onyx says.

 

“Well, Shadow Stephanie didn’t want to kill you, right?”

 

"no, s-shes very nice to me. a-as well as a girl called artemouse" Onyx says.

 

“Artemis? Oh yeah, she’s cool! Who else knows about you?”

 

"um, the shadow called a-aj, and a really nice woman called myria" Onyx says.

 

"May I speak to them within the hour? I received an update from the front lines."

You can't push through, but everyone's pretty much punching each other.

Let me out, I'll move everyone aside...

 

“Oh, them! Well, do you know where Shadow Stephanie is?”

 

"Just don't get to excited." He thinks.
He transforms and a loud roar is heard.
