Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Sure." Abigail says happily.

 

Ruby heads downstairs and into the back room, looking towards the ingot chest.

 

A wide array of materials appear to be available. Vexa appears to be working on the anvil.

 

Ruby checks the amounts of molten ingots before melting some more down.
"Hey, boss. Is it okay if we make another set of gauntlets and take another bit of leave? Gonna ask my sister if she has a lead on the other half of my soul."

 

"Sure thing." Vexa says, smiling.

 

"Thanks."
Ruby gathers the casts and divider for the claws, giving Abigail some sensory and control as she goes.

 

Abigail makes the claws, mixing the metals to create durable and sharp ones.

 

Once the claws are done, Ruby goes back to get the casts for the gauntlet pieces.

 

Ruby feels a little happier as she goes back to get the casts.

 

"Yes, I can. Let's calm them down. No killing if not needed."

 

As she lays them out, she double checks the amounts of molten material before letting Abigail take over for the gauntlet itself.

Killing will end both of us... let's just agree to wound at a maximum, shall we?

"...Are you okay, sir?" The innkeeper asks, giving you an uneasy look.

 

There appears to be plenty of molten material left as Abigail starts making the gauntlet.

 

(Wait who's the person talking about 'both killing us'?)
"Yeah lets go. I wont transform yet for the 'extra' effect."

 

(That's also you...)

"Alright. You just seemed a bit distracted in your thoughts."

He's not wrong... but I'd rather you not tell him that you're sort of two different people.

Ruby does her best to remember what Abigail does, letting her do most of the movement.

 

(I'm kinda confused, but okay. Is it like 'wolf me' talking to 'human me'?)
"Don't worry. I'm good."

 

Once Abigail finishes the guantlets, she stops moving through Ruby.

 

Ruby checks that everything's put together before checking the quality with Vexa.

(That's exactly what's happening, thus all the "you're having a conversation with yourself" bits)

"Alright. Don't get hurt too badly."

He should say the same to them... Heh.

 

"Yeah, yeah. Now.. where are those bastards?"

 

"Nice work. You really know quality." Vexa compliments.

 

"Hey, I don't need you breaking even more stuff. They're just around the corner." The innkeeper says.
The brawl sounds to be mostly screaming, the occasional thing breaking.

"I've never seen Abigail smith anything, but she must know a lot." Ruby chuckles, going to the grindwheel to sharpen the claws.
