Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Again, I wasn't always a shadow. I hunger for flesh and blood, but at least so far I quell it with tea." Alice shrugs. "It's nice to get away from everyone killing each other, though."

 

The leaves rustle in the trees as Crystal walks through them, making quite a pleasant scene.

"That's what I don't get about you Shadows. You say that you love to consume the flesh and blood of humans, yet I've seen you eat stuff like tofu and green tea perfectly fine." Vexa says, shaking her head.

 

"We can eat anything, but it's just to be socially acceptable. I don't think it actually does much for us."

 

"I'm sure you could find a forest guardian to explain the nutrients in a human to you." Vexa says, shrugging.

 

Crystal smiles, looking back at the faeries one more time before heading back.

 

The faeries don't appear to be looking at him, just happily chatting.

The armoured Shadow appears to be chatting with an earth guardian once Crystal gets back.

 

Crystal lets them talk, looking around the training area more.

 

"I know the nutrients in a human. Cabinet 45, drawer 3, folder 25 in my personal files."

 

A few Shadows appear to be fighting a huge beast a long distance away, but that appears to be for safety.

"I don't know how to feel about that." Vexa says, mildly disturbed.

 

Crystal sits down, watching the fight from afar.

 

The Shadows appear to be facing an extremely tough enemy, one of them being thrown aside while another is torn in half and eaten.

 

Crystal a bit shocked, uncomfortably shuffles back while looking at the enemy.

 

Luckily, due to the distance, Crystal appears to be safe.

 

Crystal studies the enemy a bit more, curious.

 

"If it makes you feel any better, I won't catalogue you in my files on guardians." Alice shrugs.

"...Alice collects two things - tea and intel." Ruby comments.
"Forest guardians make killer tea, both metaphorically and literally if you ask the right one."

 

"How come?"

 

The enemy appears to be extremely large with four clawed feet, two heads with two mouths each, four eyes on each head and large sharp tentacles protruding from it's back. It also appears to have smaller tentacles that fire sticky liquid to trap it's victims with.

"I've heard of your alliance with forest guardians to gather humans with a poison tea shop." Vexa nods.

 

Crystal tries his best to check how many Shadows are alive and how damaged the monster is.

 

The monster appears to be quite harmed, though only four Shadows remain.

 

Crystal watches the rest of the fight unfold, a bit nervous.
