Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"What's this?"
He takes the remote.
"Buttons?"
He presses some of the buttons and sees what happens.

 

Crystal jabs at the base of the golem’s head with the rod, staying out of reach.

 

The television clicks on to show a man sitting at a desk talking about the wildfire going on over on the mainland.'
"...The Guardian of the Seas has gone to aid the locals in their firefighting effort, though the situation continues to worsen. At this point, the mountain dragons have also come to aid, but the Guardian of the Skies seems intent on seeing this forest burn. We will be back with an update tomorrow at seven."

 

"That god damn Ziz. Why is she like that?!"
He lays down on the bed, pissed.

 

Vexa doesn't appear to be in the shop.

The golem grabs the rod and smashes the end of it.

 

Ruby checks the area for life signatures.

The tv plays an ad for the nearby sports complex.

The bed's comfortable, though.

 

There only appears to be ones of the people passing by the shop.

 

"How do I turn it off?"
He slowly presses some of the buttons, seeing which one turns it off.

 

Ruby checks to see if the shop door is locked, entering if it isn't.

The red one on the corner turns it off.

 

"Oh, so the red one turns it off. Gotta remember that."
He lays down on the bed.
"Okay, I took a shower and am all clean now. I think I'll take a nap. It's getting late."
He starts to sleep.

 

You fall asleep quickly, though wake up a bit cold.
The fan's on, and you're not sure how to turn it off. The clock says it's roughly 11:30, so most people are probably asleep.

 

Crystal chuckles a bit, before pulling back the rod and snapping it in two.

 

He looks at the fan.
"Uh.. how does this wind thing work?"
(Is it one with buttons?)

 

The door appears to be open, the inside of the shop quiet.

The golem charges crystal, angry.

 

Crystal smiles, tossing one of the rods at the golem’s face and dodging right when the golem gets near.

 

The golem bats the rod away, leaping onto Crystal to try and crush him with it's entire body.

 

Crystal dives out of the way, but the golem manages to get a bit more than half his body anyways.
However, upon landing, the golem finds no resistance, and instead half of a flattened Crystal, which immediately combusts into flames under him as the top half of Crystal reaches for the golem’s head and swings at it.

 

Crystal manages to damage the golem's head as he swings at it, however the flames only seem to make the metal hot, making the golem even more dangerous.

 

Crystal swings again, creating water instead of fire to help shift out from under the golem.

 

(It has a cord dangling from the center)

It just keeps spinning, though you accidentally bump a bead attached to the end of a cord that sticks out of the fan.

Ruby checks to see if anything was stolen.
