Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Crystal leaps up and shifts around the golem as he attacks, wrapping around the golem’s arms and body.

 

"It was nice." Abigail says.

The golem tries hitting the parts of his body with Crystal on them to smash him.

 

He ends up hitting himself more than anything, as Crystal keeps shifting around the golem, eventually wrapping around the head.

 

The golem tries hitting itself in the head to crush Crystal.

 

It hit Crystal this time, but Crystal stays strong around the head, squeezing it.

 

The head slowly starts to compress as the golem keeps hitting Crystal.

 

After another hit or two, Crystal eventually starts dodging the hit, making the golem hit itself in the head.

 

The golem dents itself, but keeps trying to hit Crystal.

 

"Abigail says it was nice." Ruby sighs.

 

Artemis smiles slightly.

 

"...I'm sorry. For everything I did in the past."

 

Crystal forms ice below himself, wrapped around the golem’s head just like he was, before sneakily shifting off of the golem.

 

"...Apology accepted." Artemis says.

The golem smashes through the ice around its head, frustrated.

 

Ruby sighs, this time in relief.
"I'm sorry for bothering you today. You probably only have today with your father, don't you?"

 

Crystal smiles, summoning a very long rod of ice, sticking the rod in his hands and to the golem’s chest, pushing them.

 

Artemis nods.

The golem is just pushed back a bit as it tears the ice off of it's head, though it keeps it's balance.

 

He takes the key.
"See you tomorrow then." He smiles and walks towards his room.

 

"I'll leave you alone, then. And, uh... I'm kind of sorry about not just handing your friends Abigail's half-soul. Survival instinct and such..." She admits, beginning to open a portal with her staff.
"I, uh... should get back to my employer for the night. Thanks for not shooting me."

 

"Goodbye, Ruby." Artemis' father says.

 

You walk into the room to a wall-mounted screen (television? You haven't actually used one before) with a remote, a bed, a closet, and a small bathroom off to the side.

Ruby waves, heading through the portal and closing it a few seconds later.

She heads back to the smithy and looks for Vexa.
