Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"All right, I'll have this fixed by tomorrow morning. Shouldn't cost much, if anything." He shrugs, taking the other axe head.

 

"Oh, I also have some arrow heads. Would you mind taking a look at them?"
He takes out the arrow heads.

 

The nurse glances at her, before going back to talking to the doctor.

"Thanks, it sure as hell hasn't been easy." Shadow Stephanie says, sighing.

 

Ruby waits for Stephanie.

"Talk to the city guard. I don't do that kind of stuff."

 

Stephanie wakes up about half an hour later, sitting up and looking around, before putting a hand to her head, seeming to be in pain.

 

"So you repair weapons but not arrows?"

 

"...Please don't try to run..." Ruby says nervously.

"I don't work with bows or arrows."

 

Stephanie just tries to focus her vision before laying back down.

 

Ruby steps towards her, uneasy before giving Abigail more control.

 

Abigail stays where she is.

 

Ruby sighs.
"Should we tell the nurse...?" She asks.


Amethyst approaches Bea, tail shifting.

 

"I think we should." Abigail says.


Bea stays where she is, unaware.

 

Ruby looks around for them, approaching if she can find them.


Amethyst knocks her tail, antsy.

 

They're still chatting with the doctor, the floor and walls seeming to be painted with the water.


Bea turns around.

 

"Excuse me? Miss Stephanie requires a bit of attention." Ruby comments.


Amethyst steps towards Bea.
"What about the celebration"

 

The nurse and doctor head into the room, checking over Stephanie and talking to her kindly.


"Oh, of course! I'm sorry, I almost forgot." Bea says happily.

 

Ruby waits.


Amethyst just sits there.

 

"Oh, gotcha. I'll ask the guards then.
He's about to leave but..
"Oh, by the way. Do you happen to know if there is some sort of bathhouse or something in this village?"

 

Nobody disturbs Ruby, until Artemis dashes out of the room.


Bea leaves, before returning a while later and putting what feels like a bucket in Amethyst's hand.

"Let's go." Bea says.

 

"Check a hotel."

Ruby gasps.
"W-what...?"


Amethyst just sits there, fiddling with the bucket.
"Whats this for" She draws.
