Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Inside is mostly empty, and other than the sound of a hammer hitting metal, mostly silent.

 

"Hello?!"
He walks around a bit.

 

The entry is fairly small. There's pretty much just a few benches in front of an old wooden counter that's taken more beatings than a shield.

"I'll be with you in a few." The smith calls back.

 

"Okay."
He sits down on one of the benches and looks around the store.

 

There's nothing notable. Stains cover the walls, and a few blood-covered knives still are lodged in the old wooden planks.

Something across from you catches your attention; a bloody silver-coated dagger with a tuft of old fur is sticking out of the arm of one of the benches.

 

(Why are the sword bloody? Aren't they made here?)
"What's this?" He thinks as he approaches the dagger.
"It looks.. good."
He looks at the fur.
"What animal is this?"

 

It feels familiar. Almost like you.

...Werewolf fur?
(Yes, the blades are made there)

 

"It's wolf fur!" He looks a bit surprised.

 

The smith comes out to the desk.
"Yeah, it's wolf fur. I hadn't bothered cleaning up after a few drunks came in and made a mess of the place." He shrugs.

 

Shadow Stephanie melts into the ground too, looking like a 2D version of herself.

Ruby's head is set on fire, melting the ice. Strangely, the fire doesn't seem to burn at all, it just feels warm.

 

"Where did you get it from?"

 

There’s a pause as Crystal moves closer.
“Hey, what do you do as Queen?”

 

Ruby pays it little mind, looking for the nurse.

"Here. I mopped the floor and took out the dead, but I left the weapons there."

 

"You single handed took out an entire group of drunks? Wow."

 

"Make sure the kingdom doesn't destroy itself mainly." Shadow Stephanie says.

The nurse appears to be just outside the room talking to the doctor while looking at the walls covered in odd blue water.

 

Ruby sighs.
"Sorry, Abigail. I was worried that'd happen..." She thinks out loud.

"Well, I cleaned house. Only took the last two." He shrugs.

 

"I guess..?"
He takes out his axe heads.
"Anyway, I need your help."

 

"Lost the handles in a fight or a fire?" He asks, stepping towards you and taking one of the axe heads.

 

"A fire." He awkwardly smiles.

 

“It seems to be doing pretty well.”
He compliments.
