So... Spawnpoints Around Cinfras?

If you die anywhere AROUND cinfras, do you spawn at Gilebord, Olux or Lexdale? Because I do and it's really inconvenient. I know players aren't supposed to die often, and avoid going back to the same place if you're having trouble, but what if a quest, like flight in distress is SUPER buggy and trying it 3 times results in you each time ending up in an enclosed box with no light, after going through the iron trapdoor? And it's too small to use a teleport scroll, so you can only /kill... having to treck all the way back, (because using a teleport scroll takes away yet another soul point) it's really aggravating... any way to set a town as you spawn point manually? Customise your death spawn?

yeah but what I'm trying to say is that lexdale isn't the closest town, nor the last town I visited before I had to use /kill to get out of yet another buggy situation :'(

my point is that I'm trying to say I'm closest to cinfras than the other towns, hell I was closest to thanos (farming grounds, not the quest) for some of the time, but still spawned at lexdale...

 

You only spawn in cities that you’ve visited at least once - maybe you haven’t visited Cinfras or Thanos?

 

I've visited every town that is lower than 90. Yes I've visited Cinfras and Thanos.

 

But, it actually is the closest town.

Doing flight in distress (or almost any quest with teleporters, for that matter) teleports you to an area outside of the map, where the area is re-built for the quest. That airship in flight in distress is in a location where it's like super far out north, so the closest town is Lexdale, the northernmost town in Gavel.

yeah I know this. I've spent too much time looking at the map. But these death bugs aren't just teleport off map things. Just in and around cinfras, like at the lake, lexdale is the spawn point :(

 

If you have these issues in Flight in Distress, the areas are out of the map so it's hard to say. Cinfras is farther from the edge of the map than Lexdale.

Also, if you die at Lake Gylia, I have 2 things to point out. 1: Get better stuff, and 2: Get scrolls.
