I've noticed something being said in here, and I've discussed this with some other mods. So, I'm going to point a couple of things out.

First, the Trade Market section has some special rules. The first one is "Come here to sell or buy a certain item!" You aren't allowed to use the Trade Market to display an item, just to see how much you can drive the price up, or to show it off to other players. If you post it in here, we expect you make your post(s) in good faith, and offering something for sale, when you don't intend to sell it, at a reasonable price, is not in good faith. That is ruining someone else's enjoyment of the game.

Second, in our general game rules, we have specifically said "8. Do not scam players.
(Selling something that is grossly overpriced, . . .." Now, without a doubt, we've always said that grossly overpricing something, when you know very well that your price is a scam, isn't allowed, either. And we've dealt with players who scammed other players, in several different situations (um, no, I'm not going to give anyone any "bright" ideas). We don't want players taking advantage of other players, and overpricing anything, intentionally, whether you sell it or not. We generally try to warn someone who does that, the first time. Well, something has come to our attention, and I've quoted a bunch of times that word or a phrase was used, that really raised our concern. And I've tagged some people who were referred to, in here, also, out of courtesy. That word is "overprice", because it seems pretty clear to us that "overprice" means just what it commonly means: the item is intentionally overpriced. Well, that means that it may be in the Trade Market when, in fact, it's not for sale (see the First item, above), or that it is for sale, and knowingly overpriced - scam pricing.

Either way, if it's your item, you are putting a price on it to sell it, or whatever, and it's not following either the spirit or the letter of our rules, you need fix your post. So, it's time to clean this up, before any of the mods have to step in and enforce the rules on this.

YO!!! Let me put some things to rest, that I thought that I had addressed. I'm not making any accusations, I'm trying to help make the rules a bit more clear. That's it. That's all.

1) Selling something to someone for way more than it is worth, if they don't know the difference, is not allowed, because it's scamming. If you have something that is dear to you, and someone else wants it, and they are willing to buy it from you at for more than it's worth, that's fine, because they know the difference. Doing that, in order to trick a third party, isn't OK, obviously.

2) "+ overprice", "overprice", and "overpriced" all seem to mean the same thing. If they do, then the seller needs to be very clear that they know they are asking too much, explain why, and be ready to take whatever heat the market throws at them. If they don't mean the same thing, tell me in a pm.

3) That all being said, putting an item in the Trade Market, with no real intent of selling it, isn't the purpose of the Trade Market. This forum is here for the purpose of buying/selling/trading in-game items, for in-game items. In the spirit of that purpose, if someone is only offering something for an outrageous price, that they know no one will pay for it (tough call, true), then it shouldn't be in here.

Bottom line: be fair. Don't act like you don't understand how to behave properly. This isn't a Scams-'r-Us forum.

Guys. Both sides, stop. Alright, sometimes we don't like each other, and that's fine. But PLEASE keep that private, so this thread stays on-topic, which is about selling mythics and gathering more members.

If you don't this the flame war will keep going, until the mods will have to start handing out warnings and eventually close the thread.

Quick note, "I stop if you stop" never works. Never.
