    This person doesn't get it.
They hate rainbow because it ruins the fun of playing a game where some people have strengths AND WEAKNESSES. Of course it is boring to make rainbow+mythic builds, THAT is why NOT using those builds is logical; if you hate something, you typically don't want to contribute to its growth in use.

Why do so many people use rainbow builds, like how is it fun being a fucking stone wall, you can't kill anything and nothing can kill you

"woah super op 2k meteors!!!!!!" okay

That's the thing, most weapoms deal enough damage on their own and rainbow builds don't have much negative damages. For example, Fatal can still reach ~25k meteors with a generic rainbow build.

which is very good game design and it was a very smart idea to make items as good as 5 legendaries combined without armor

I don't think they realised what they were doing, it's a huge combination of factors that makes rainbow so powerful.

I like to think of what it would be like if there were no mythics, but legends were super rare, kind of like pre-gavel

TBH mythics do not make rainbow powerful it is the fact that you could use mythics with items like gemini and gravity that made them op, I think the armor re balancing will help with that/has help with that. You could also before the update slap 2 peices of hive together like boreal and hepha and still use cata, which is going to be expensive and rare after the update.

My normal non-rainbowslap build did only 5 k extra dmg than this when i used Judas, and this can tank like a boss. So it is not the weapon it is the armor that has made the game imbalanced, and I think Selvut is doing a great job in re-balancing both rn.

*even though my cata went from 35 to 25 stx in worth but that is life :D*
