Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Crystal doesn’t respond, looking at the ground.

 

"Hmmm.."
*sigh*
Silence
*grinding teeth*
"Maybe we can make the Ziz have more 'fun' in doing her job?"

 

"Hon, don't worry about killing her. Fun is subjective, and she's pretty self-centered."

 

"I never said I was gonna kill her. But you're right. She sounds self-centered."

 

Rema shrugs.
"Just making sure you're not pushing the terms of the deal."

 

"Don't worry. I know."

 

She smiles.
"Well, do you still want to return to my cave, or should I head home alone?"

 

"The king took heavy damage to the back of the head, though the queen is fine. Miss Katie is in the medical ward too, as well as the queen's form and Miss Artemis, who's being treated for damage to the head too." The guard explains.

Shadow Stephanie gives Crystal a hug.

 

"Eh, I'll walk along. Don't have anything else to do."

 

Ruby seems concerned.
"May I please see the queen, in that case? I figure I need to start somewhere... since I know where Abigail is."

"It's fine if you don't want to come. Plenty to explore on this island... more than most get through in a lifetime, anyways."

 

"Is it really that big?"
He stands up.
"Nah. I'll come along."

 

He hugs back, though it’s pretty obvious he’s not moving his arms.

 

The guard points to Shadow Stephanie hugging Crystal.

"Hey, don't be down," Shadow Stephanie says, concerned, "How about we do something fun to take your mind off of it?"

 

"Like what?"
Crystal looks up.

 

"Anything! What do you like to do for fun?" Shadow Stephanie asks, smiling.

 

"Uhhhh..."
Crystal thinks.
"I dunno. I went hunting with Voidfiller and that was pretty fun, but I... don't think I'm up for that right now."

 

Ruby nods, heading over.

"Not really big... just a lot to look at."

 

"Any examples? I've been walking around a bit and haven't seen that much."

 

"There are a lot of caves and tunnels, and not just in the mountains. It's strange how many there are... maybe even stranger that nothing seems to have ever lived in them."

 

"Well, I got a lot to explore then." He smiles.
