Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Thank you."
He takes the rabbits.
"Eat them like this? Or would you rather remove the fur first?"

 

Voidfiller slowly descends, retracting his wings.
“No. I could make it one, but it’d be more of just a large holding area than a prison.”
He stretches, making a new portal that leads to the training room in the Void Palace.
“There’s your way out. Or stay, I don’t care.”

 

Ruby lays down.
"...This day could've gone better, but this wasn't bad." She thinks.


"Where do I bring them?" Rineth asks.


"I think those were all alive. Hard to sift through thousands of corpses."

"Skin them if you want." Anne shrugs.

They all leave, hold the commander.
"...Who are you?"

 

"Nah, the fur will probably burn off."
He looks around.
"Got a stick or something?"

 

"I was hoping you'd find one."

 

"Ugh.. give a sec."
He goes in the woods and grabs a pointy stick.

 

"Yeah, Vexa seems nice." Abigail says.


"Just bring them into the palace, we'll have them seen to soon." The guard says.


"Well, I hope we're able to restore them all to health." The guard says, smiling.

 

There are pointy sticks everywhere.

 

He grabs 3.
"Got some!"
He returns to the group and pins the rabbits.

 

"I'm still nervous about heading back to the Shadow Realm, but that's a concern for tonight."


Rineth nods, hauling them in.


"Thanks." Sapphire nods, yawning. "By the ways, how's Amethyst?"

Anne holds one up over the fire, leaving the other two for you.

 

"Thank you."
He grills the rabbits.

 

It takes until the sun gets just above the mountains before they're finished cooking.
"...Do you mind if I take one for myself?"

 

"I hope everything goes well." Abigail says nervously.


A few guards see to the draconians, taking them to the medical ward.


"Our reports from her caretaker say that she's doing quite well. A few cybernetic enhancements have been planned for her to give her sight and speech." The guard says.

 

"Whose asking?"
He looks around.

 

“My name’s Voidfiller. You?”

 

"Yeah... I can't stay up all night, though, so I'll hope that no shadows are looking for my head."


Rineth opts to head towards the throne room.


"...I hope it works. I don't think she's the sister who's allergic to metals."

"That's not all that important. I suppose the enemy of my enemy is my friend, though..."

Rema's behind you.
"Oh, just a witch."
Anne seems a bit startled.

 

"Hey!" He happily smiles.
"What are you doing here?"

 

“Long name you got there.”
Voidfiller smiles jokingly.

 

"We're in a weapon's shop, so that'll help us defend ourselves if they are." Abigail says.


Shadow Stephanie seems to be sitting on her throne organizing a few things.


"I sure hope not." The guard says worriedly.

 

"Oh, I figure that I was wrong to wait for you to come to me. I'd been waiting so long, all because I feared for my life out here... but if I really want to show you that you mean something to me, it's worth the risk... isn't it?" She asks, smiling.

"Right." Ruby says, sighing. "We'll be fine, though... relatively speaking."


"...Excuse me?"


"...Well, you'll find out soon, I figure. I need to get back on the front lines."

They sigh.
"Not in the mood."
