Mage and warrior are known as the easiest classes to learn, master and solo a boss with.

However, assassin and archer are very good too.

Depends what you want and playstyle is, warriors are close ranged but tanky, archer is high range and high dmg but dies quickly, Mage has good spells especially heal and assassin I haven't played but it's apparently the hardest to master, vanish also goes away when you hit something and constantly drains mana

love mage, i like not having to hold potions on me when i can just spam heal, its long ranged, you can freeze mobs in place with ice snake, deal massive damage with meteor and teleport massive distances with teleport.

The main area people tend to focus on with comparing classes is how they perform against end-game bosses like Qira, the Orange Wybel and the LI bosses. The mythic items available are also compared. When looking at things this way, Mage tends to come out on top (due mostly to heal, but also to the damage output Meteor can give on a good build).
This method doesn't really give an accurate view of the classes as most players experience them. Here's my opinion of each class in general:

Mage- Poor in the early game, owing to bad damage, but Meteor makes an instant difference in damage potential, and Heal being very useful for its survivability. A lot of the improvement to Mage in the later game is due to an increased ability to focus on spells, so spell-spam builds are very useful. In the late game Mage becomes very easy to use - pin enemies in place with Ice Snake and rain meteors on them, healing when you get remotely low on health - not much skill involved. I'd recommend Mage for a first playthrough, but not for experienced players, there's way more fun to be had in other classes.

Archer- In the early and mid game, Archer is very powerful fun to play. You can deal a lot of damage from a safe distance, sometimes before they even see you. The catch is that if you get caught out, you die very easily. As for spells, the big gamechangers are Bomb and the second level of Escape. Bomb will allow you to do more damage, and crucially take out groups of weaker enemies with AOE, before this a weakness of the class. The speed boost level of escape really cements Archer as the most mobile class, with horses being barely necessary. However, archer falls short in enclosed spaces like boss arenas, where its vulnerability is more significant. This combined with poor endgame weapons means that in the late game, Archer is the weakest class.

Warrior- Warrior is a good all-round class that can be several things depending on how you build it. In the early game, Warrior has a relatively easy time, owing to a damage spell available immediately and good survivability. Warrior spells are good for crowd control, though tankier builds can struggle to deal much damage against bosses. Defence is a great asset whether or not it's a focus of the build, and it stacks higher and higher as the game progresses, with the class's base defense being supplemented by the War Scream buffs and defence skill points. This defense also allows damage based builds to suffer less from the glasscanon nature of damage based builds in other classes.

Assassin- Certainly the most unique class, Assassin comes with major downsides that become more significant later. The first is a lack of a real movement spell. This can leave the class significantly slower than any other, as you'll be using regular foot travel for a lot of the game. Assassin also lacks group support capabilities, which means it's not great if you're interested in the more social aspects of an MMO. Assassins also suffer from a lack of good non-mythic endgame items. In the right hands, an assassin is very powerful, but it's not an easy option by any means.

    what
says is very true, all class es have there strengths and weaknesses, but some players can get around weaknesses due to their play style, and some players weaken strengths with playstyle.
I myself mainly have used the archer, and despite the archer being long ranged, and weak close combat, my reaction skills with an archer to avoid taking massive damage, and there are some builds late game that can make an archer really tanky. The reason why the archer is easy to kill if in close quarters is many due to the fact that a bow hits only a single target, where all three other classes hit a bit of aoe. This makes the almuji desert with so many small mobs a very difficult zone to survive without massive mana regen. However the archer has also been given the shield of arrows, and if used, can cause knock back to foes, give you enough time to escape, and does as much damage as the bomb spell, except it I around you, and you can carry the spell until a mob gets too close. Although late game the archer doesn't have much super quality weapons, there are ways around that, by finding specific strengths in slightly earlier bows, like the spiritshock bow, maelstrom bow and some dungeon obtainable bows. As I've said, I can get around close quarter fights with my archer, as proven by my soloing of CoW, the lvl 100 demon below temple of legends, and I defeated him without potions, without massive mana regen, and with only maelstrom, (a good one, I admit) at exactly level 70, and then I carried other players who were struggling.
The Warrior class is definitely an easy class to play with, as there are plenty of early game weapons that can carry you at least another 20 levels. the most significant early game weapon is probably the Berserker. It hits slow, but it can cause a lot of explosion damage, actually REALLY hits hard, and obviously is an earth weapon, with a strength boost, which passively makes damage higher. The leaping ability actually has tricks to it to make it even better, so I've learnt recently, and there are a surprising amount of mana regen warrior weapons. It definitely benefits from the few rare items in the game that increase attack speed, but generally the warrior is great for survivability.
Everyone knows the mage. It is a spell spam strength class, which is what people love doing so often in many mmo games, to just use abilities and not basic attacks. That said, the archer does ask for spell spamming too. I don't really have much to say about the mage that hasn't been stated already. Besides the fact that once again, it does depend on the weapons you can acquire for the mage, and the really significant ones tend to be few and far between.
The assassin. Yes. It is difficult. But it is also the strongest class. It is definitely a close range high hitting class to deal lots of damage in a short space of time. The assassin is also, in my opinion, the hardest class to know which element you want to be most dependent on, as each weapon type, and even some neutrals, have a lot of high points and great strengths. Earth weapons allow for generally the highest hitting damage, so if you want an easy time farming, an earth build REALLY makes the job easy. Dexterity weapons seem to be the most common for the assassin, from my experience, and generally have high dps, due to critical hitting a decent amount of the time. So Dexterity is the easiest build to cling to through the whole of wynncraft. Intelligence weapons I don't see that much of, but they usually have high skill demand to use, but seems to be great for buffing and reusing your spells. The class doesn't rely on spells as much as other classes, or doesn't need to, so I don't really know about the intelligence build, because I haven't reached high enough a level to really use one of the significant weapons of this type. Defense, again there appear to be a lot of these weapons for the assassin, but the weapons them selves so far seem to have a lot of negative stats that need to be countered by armour and trinkets, I feel. Don't get me wrong, assassins are great with defense, as in a team, the assassins generally go ahead of warriors due to being higher hitters, so they need to survive too. Defense builds are very good for high damage and high survivability, but as I mentioned, there are other stats you seems to really have to pay attention too. Not much health regen seems to be a theme. Agility, as you would expect, very fast and actually helps a decent amount with the assassins lacking ability to get around quickly. Definitely good for looking like a soldier type, due to the long bladed katana style of agility weapons, and morale is not to be underestimated. Going around in the world with a cool looking and realistic sword can make you feel really powerful, and helps you to think clearer in the heat of fights. There are also a lot of neutral and mixed weapons that benefit from agility powders.

So in general, you can see that my preference class is the archer, but really all the classes are equal, you just as the player need to be aware of what makes your class better, stats, armour, weapons, and your play style. All four have their own dynamics, and those dynamics work very well for multiplayer too, instead of solo. That said, assassins are probably the most suited to solo play, but other classes love having assassins with them.

Mage: if you want to have no fun, no skill, and be super overpowered
Assassin: fun, vanish is nice, and you rely on skill to not die and do high damage
Warrior: can be everything, super tank or high damage, whatever you want, but I personally don’t like the spells
Archer: very fun as a first time class, keep your distance or die

Here's my basic opinion of all the classes:
    Archer:

Archer, is the worst class to me and it's the worst class to pretty much everyone, even most archer mains agree with this. The problem with it is that it's too glassy and the damage output is simply not enough to make up for it. (Unless you're going for an az glass/grandmother glass that relies on rage, but even then, you'll get one shot by pretty much everything.) The archer's main speciality is its range, which is useless in most boss rooms due to a lack of camping spots and lack of space. This is mainly why people resort to making agility build with archer, but agility archer is basically a game of chance, sometimes you dodge the hit and live, but sometimes RNG Jesus isn't in your favor and you take the hit and die. It also sucks ass in the first 20 levels in the game due to arrow storm and archer's melee being poor crowd control tactics.

    Mage:
Mage is an interesting class. It is sucky in early game because of no damaging spells, so you have to rely on melee, which does sucky damage. Mage is noted the most "OP" class in the game because of the heal spell can make you basically immortal with the right build. I think almost everybody chooses Mage as their first play through, partially because it's the coolest class, but partially because you'll have the easiest time while playing it.

    Warrior:
In my eyes, warrior was always the most boring class to me. It's spells and the fact that it's "the tank class" seem to be just uninteresting to me. Unfortunately, most of the warrior's power comes from abusing bugs, such as the infamous warscream-life steal bug that affects apocalypse, and the tier stacking glitch that affects both apocalypse and Alkatraz. (If you don't know what they are, then the first one is self-explanatory, and the second one is basically getting tons of attack speed tier to drastically increase your dps on a weapon that was meant to attack very slowly.) Not to mention the other bugs it has, such as the defense+resistance stacking bug. NOTE: I am NOT saying that ALL of warrior's power comes from abusing bugs. If you found a good build for it that doesn't abuse bugs, then good for you. Heck, I found a build for it that I like, and it can solo pretty much every boss in the game without skill potions, and it doesn't abuse bugs.

Now, assassin. Assassin is my favorite class in the game. It performs the best early game, since unlike archer, it has good crowd control. Spin attack is a good spell that remains useful all the way through the game. Vanish is good for escaping dangerous situations, even though it sucks for mobility. It has the highest base damage out of any class.

Now, I'll "rank" the classes based on a category. I'll count up the points each class earns, if it's in first place it will get 3, second place gets 2, third place gets 1, and fourth place gets 0. Let's begin.

    Early Game:
    1. Assassin
    2.Warrior
    3. Mage
    4. Archer

    Mid Game:
    1. Mage
    2. Archer
    3. Assassin
    4. Warrior

    End Game:
    1. Mage
    2. Warrior (only because of bug abuse, if those bugs didn't exist then it would be #3.)
    3. Assassin
    4. Archer

    PvP:
    1. Mage
    2. Assassin
    3. Archer
    4. Warrior

Overall, Mage wins with 9 points. It excels in pretty much every area, except for early game.

Then, we have Assassin at 7 points. Assassin is a weird class, if you don't know how to play it then it can be the worst performing class. That doesn't mean it's bad, it just means that it's not for everyone.

Next, we have warrior at 4 points. I don't really have anything new to say about it. Don't get me wrong, it's a good class, but it never really was my favorite.

Finally, we have the poor archer at 3 points. I already stated the problems with it. Imo, archer needs a buff. I think buff its base defense so it's not too glassy, but still squishier than Mage. In turn, arrow shield should be the only thing nerfed about archer. Arrow storm should also be changed so that it doesn't give so much knockback, arrow storm is pretty much useless unless the enemy you're pelting with arrows doesn't take knockback. In addition to this, archers damage is too low imo. Idk if this is because bomb arrow doesn't do enough damage, or if the damage on archer's weapon just suck. We'll probably find out after this update, since it's assumed that bows like Grandmother will get a damage buff to make its huge penalties more worth it.
