"We...don't. We sensed something seemed wrong, though." Lielia says.

 

"They won't. Not with the friends you have."


"Lux's body has been slain."

There's benches everywhere.

After a minute, the gorgon turns to you.
"Okay, come over here."

 

wow, you guys might even reach page 3000 at this time

 

He gets up from the bench and walks towards the gorgon.
"I'm next? Should I spread my arms?"
He spreads his arms.

 

"I'll do that first, sure. Can you look at me for a second?" She asks.

 

"Uhh.. should I? Because of the gorgon thing?"
He doesn't look at her yet.

 

"Oh, that's all in a myth. Does everyone really believe that?" She asks, sighing.
Anne shrugs.
"I'm fine. I looked at her."

 

"i-i hope not, my masters are nice to me!" Onyx says happily.


"That's...unfortunate to hear." Solus says, saddened.

 

"Speaking of... are they okay?"


"I wanted to make sure this realm was still stable. However, my actual concerns lie within the Realm of Shadows... since Tenebrae was also slain as a result of Lux bringing her along."

 

"i dont know, i havent seen them" Onyx says.


"I hope they're alright." Lielia says, concerned.

 

"I'm worried about the shadow queen lady. The king should be just fine, if not cooped up right now."


"According to Mortius, they should recover in time. However... something that takes so long, without significant interference from Temporus, will not come to fruition in time for the conflict in my home."
Pause.
"As for the shadows... I'm not sure. I may ask one of my own kin who forfeited her life to Tenebrae to search for answers, and she may be able to discover more about this... dire situation."

 

"i havent seen her either" Onyx admits.


"Perhaps you could ask Temporus for assistance?" Lielia suggests.

 

"Ah... I'll take a look for myself soon." Xlentia sighs.


"Reviving those who want my sister dead while she is still weakened is a foolish task. While I understand their rage, they both handled their emotions poorly. High gods typically spare little mercy for parents who lose their children, yet they suddenly seek to dismantle my home because their child tore it at the seams and was punished for it..."
Virei'tus looks bitter, but his tone of voice doesn't show it.

 

"ok!" Onyx says a little cheerily.


"Well, perhaps you could only try to revive Tenebrae? She's never seemed like the violent type, and I fear our neighboring realm's inhabitants without a proper god to control them." Solus suggests.

 

"Now, feel free to turn back into a furball. If you're okay, then things should work out fine."


Virei'tus hesitates.
"As much as I would like to say yes... I'm not sure if they will permit that. If it would help ease your mind, I will ask. Otherwise, there is still a war to be fought. Two high gods won't oppose themselves."

 

"i-id like to stay like this. being a cat is a little uncomfurtable." Onyx admits.


"We understand." Lielia says, nodding.

 

"Well, I won't stop you either way." Xlentia says, opening a portal to the shadow realm.


"I will ask, then... I apologize for the mess my sister's actions while mind controlled have caused." Virei'tus says.


Ruby appears at the gates of the Shadow Palace, walking with a staff.

 

Onyx stays where she is, sitting down.


"It is understandable. We too were mind controlled in a sense not long ago, consumed by our lust for power and greed for domination." Solus says.


The guards glare at Ruby.

"What d'ya want?" One of the guards asks bluntly.

 

"The most cruel fate is to have someone else write it..."


"...To speak with the queen, or go to Earth. Either one." She says, meeting their glare with Abigail's eyes.

 

The king and queen nod, agreeing.


"Alright, y'can speak with the queen if you make it quick and don't pull anything." The guard says, opening the gates.
