Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"It is..."
Inside, you're greeted with a ball of snakes hissing at you.
...turns out it's just a gorgon.
"Oh, good afternoon. Can I help you?" She asks, glancing back.

 

"We're thinking of buying a wedding dress and suit. Can you help us?"
He looks around the store.

 

There's several outfits, none of them meant for human wear.
"Of course. Will you be reciting your vows in bestial form, or human form?" She asks, pulling out an old notepad.

 

Onyx meows again.


"Mummy! Mummy! Look! A dragon!" A young forest guardian says happily, jumping up and down and pointing when they see Virei'tus.

The guards bow to Virei'tus as he passes.

 

"...You're not hurt, are you?"


Virei'tus smiles at the young guardian, though he stops at the guards.
"Where are your king and queen? I must speak to them about a grave subject."

 

"What do you think Anne? Human or werewolf?"

 

Onyx meows a little quieter.


"They are in the throne room. I'm sure they'll be glad to have a visit from you, u-uh, sir." The guard says, bowing.

 

"...I wish you could talk. I feel like I'm talking to that little green dragon who hums all the time."


"Thank you. And, most simply call me Judge." Virei'tus says, nodding at the guard before warping to the throne room.

"You should totally do it as a werewolf. It'd be cool." She giggles.

 

Onyx looks around the room for whoever is present nervously.


The king and queen appear to be talking to a forest guardian in the throne room, who seems to be finishing talking about a gemstone before she turns to leave.

 

"Well, you heard her. Bestial form it is." He smiles.

 

Just Xlentia and Ihra.


Virei'tus waits off to the side, nodding at the forest guardian.

They take note of it.
"Happy wife, happy life... that's what the humans say."
Pause.
"And I'll need you to transform for a custom fitting, if you don't mind doing so in a changing room off to the left." She says, pointing to a few booths off to the side.

 

"Uh.. sure."
He walks to one of the booths, enters and then transforms.
"Okay, I transformed. Can I come out?"

 

Onyx nervously changes to her human form.

"u-um, hi." Onyx says fearfully.


The forest guardian nods back, smiling.

"Ah, welcome!" Solus says happily.

 

"Oh... that simplifies things. Hello, little kitty."


Virei'tus smiles at Solus, before returning to his usual stoic expression as he enters.
"I think you may wish to know of a... dire situation that has just arisen."
Pause.
"Let me start with introductions. I am Virei'tus, high god of light in the other reality of which you have been taking refugees from."

"Of course. I'm not asking you to go in a prison cell or anything."

 

"h-hello." Onyx says, still scared.


"We have heard of you." Lielia says happily.

 

"Just asking to make sure."
He walks out of the dressing room, now as a werewolf.

 

"Oh, come on. If you're scared to be seen like this, speak quick so you can go back to being a cute little fuzzball."


"Have you heard that your god decided to try and murder my sister?" He asks. "I suppose you can guess that I didn't take too kindly to that."

The gorgun's taking measurements of Anne.
"One moment please, I'll be with you after I finish with your lady."

 

"w-well, i guess theres nobody really around..." Onyx says, glancing around.


"Yes, we're...sorry he did that. We are normally peaceful, so seeing our god be so violent was...rather shocking." Solus says.

 

"Take your time."
He looks around for a place to sit. Once he finds one, he sits down.

 

"No, and if it makes you feel any better, I can close the door."


"Then you know what happened to him?"
