Oh yeah, everyone has their own opinion on a subject. Just because yours seems right to you, it doesn't mean it is absolute. Either way, this is a place where you rant freely and shouldn't really get hatred on as this is supposed to be only for ranting and no flamewars. FOLLOW THE RULES PLEASE. This thread doesn't need to be taken down because you were petty about something someone said.

Oxygen is stupid. If it isn't satisfied when combining with other atoms, it causes free radicals, which gives you wrinkles. It gives you cancer when it RUSTS YOU DNA. You hear that? It rusts you INSIDE OUT. It rusts metals and apples. APPLES. You can't even enjoy an apple slice without oxygen ruining your day. When you breathe it in, you make carbon dioxide, which is bad, but not as bad as the thing that causes it. 100% of those who breathe it in will die. 100% of those who don't will die. It's a lose-lose situation. Another thing with DNA: oxygen tells it what to do, if it gives your DNA wrong instructions, well.... you might get cancer(not even a joke).

Now that I think about it, I probably could've used this in one of my 8th-grade science projects....

And I'm glad to get all of that "oxygen is the bane of our existence" stuff out of my system.

Really out of character for me but

When you go out of your way to find something to be offended by, I don't accept that you are really offended. What you are doing is putting on a performance. You are pretending to be offended so you can bully someone into changing their behavior with your faux outrage while trying to claim the social currency that comes with being a victim. Really, you're the one who's doing the victimizing when you cry "oppression" in an attempt to get power over someone.

And even if you really are offended, so what? Offense is taken, not given. If you choose to be offended by something, that's your problem. You're not entitled to sympathy and nobody owes you anything, certainly not an apology. Other people are free to say what they want, just as you are free to not listen to them. And if you believe that "hate speech" should be banned, ask yourself if anything you have ever said could be considered hate speech and get you censored or deplatformed by those who would abuse such a rule.

Instead of trying to silence people by pretending to be a victim, maybe you should hear them out, because the things we don't want to hear are often the things we need to hear in order to understand what's wrong with us. Maybe you should get out of your safe space and exercise some introspection. It's better than being a pretend victim all the time.

Your feelings are not that important. In fact, they're irrelevant. Stop being selfish and get over yourself.

Although I'll always care about others feelings, don't expect others to.
