I want to doubt that Alas would give the armor to Kyelas but I also want to believe he would.

The deadlands might be a bit chilly, being all dead and all. The tunnels near Thorndale may be a bit damp. The desert is hot (obviously) but you shouldn't have any real water problems unless you go back into the swamp for whatever reason
