Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ihra wearily gets up and hugs Gaia, sniffling.
"B-but... m-miss Tenebrae..."

 

"We did what we had to." Gaia says, sounding slightly saddened as she hugs Ihra back.

 

"Okay. Time to go."
He heads towards the cave entrance.

 

Ihra seems more worried about Tenebrae than Xlentia.
"D-do you think our gods c-could help?"

"Farewell..." Rema says.
"Good luck!" The wyvern calls.

The sunlight's a bit blinding, considering you've spent an hour in the dark.

 

He holds his hand above his eyes so he won't be blinded.
"Okay, let's see if Siln is awake."
He walks towards Siln's cave.

 

Anne hops off your shoulder.
"You have one creepy grandmother." She says, taking the lead.

 

"Perhaps, they may be able to offer some help." Gaia says.

 

"I would not commit us to that, Ihra... my sister may just sit around all day, but I cannot commit to aiding the Realm of Light. You cannot match the strength of two high gods with none."
"...Oh."

 

"You were awake during all of that?"

 

"I know better than to run my mouth in front of a witch." Anne scoffs.

 

"Caelia has agreed to watch over the realms while the gods are absent from them. She didn't seem to want to, but she agreed to." Gaia says.

 

"So you heard about it all?"

 

"Yeah. It's a nice reunion, but she still scares me."

"Please ask her if she's willing to accept Xlentia's aid in the Realm of Shadows. And, if you'd be so kind, please have her check that the refugees in the Realm of Light have not been discriminately harmed." Virei'tus says.

Ihra eventually lets go of Gaia.
"...T-thanks for the h-hug... y-you remind me o-of mother..."

 

"Well, she not technically family. She's a wyvern and I'm a lycanthrope."

 

"I shall." Gaia says.

"Many say that. Perhaps it is the reason I'm often called 'Mother Earth'." Gaia says happily, smiling at Ihra.

 

“Hey, buddy. What are you?”
I ask, not really expecting an answer.

 

The dog barks at you in a friendly manner, pacing over and sniffing you.

 

I crouch, scratching it.

 

The dog sits, enjoying the attention.

 

I sit as well, inspecting it a bit more while scratching.
