Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Ofcourse you don't care..."
*sigh*
"So, you said you could bring us to the demon today?"

 

"Yes. If you'd come into my lab, I could bring you to them now." Rema says, starting to slink off.

 

"A lab?"
He looks at the blue wyvern.
"Should I follow her?" He asks the wyvern.

 

The dog atop Ihra keeps an eye on you, but doesn't do anything.

The weapon seems rather sturdy, though Xlentia makes a dent into it as Zeri darts around, carefully re-aiming the shot.

The ground suddenly turns dark, and the darkness begins to crawl up the walls, any sources of light starting to fade.

 

I jump up in the air, hovering, while still approaching Lux.

 

Virei'tus binds both entities to Xlentia, and she redoubles the pressure she bites down on the gun, Ihra reverting her staff into an axe as it gets imbued with twilight.
"Lady Tenebrae, please don't do this..." Ihra whispers.

"If you want her help, yes."

 

"If you say so."
He follows Rema, not knowing what to expect.

 

She steps through a portal, a labratory of sorts on the other side.

 

"So.. where are we?"
He curiously looks around.

 

"My lab, if you would come through already." She says, wrapping herself around a branch that goes across the room. "I don't bite."

 

Lux seems to be completely frozen, unable to move or react at all.

The darkness scales the walls, before climbing across the ceiling as hundreds of red eyes begin to open everywhere the darkness touches, mouths with sharp teeth opening too and biting at anything near them along with sharp clawed hands which swipe about.

One of the hands suddenly flies from the ground, catching Zeri off guard and trying to crush her, Zeri losing focus as Lux starts to slowly move, his shot, now aimed at him, beginning to fly too.

A low droning sound comes from Lux's mouth, and it almost sounds like he's saying 'itch' extremely slowly.

 

Tenebrae and Lux are cut off from being able to empower themselves with any elemental attacks used against themselves. Seems they're stuck with the energy they have.


Ihra causes Zeri to phase through Tenebrae's attack, and Virei'tus takes control of Ihra's tomes as one bolt of light turns into two, into four, into eight...
The mass of bolts fires at each shadowy thing, starting to scale up rapidly.


Xlentia lets out a roar, rearing up and waiting until the shot leaves Lux's blaster to stomp on his weapon.


Ihra's working on some sort of twilight spell.

 

I rush over to Zeri, using my sword to combat the shadow-hands approaching her.

 

Zeri freezes Lux again, a little shaken as she glances down at the mouths below.

The darkness is blasted away momentarily before it just grows back, new eyes, mouths and hands sprouting in their place.

Lux's weapon is crushed, though it starts to rapidly shake before exploding outwards in a massive blast of light, Zeri quickly freezing the blast so it can't grow.

The hands try to grab onto you and pull you towards one of the many mouths on the floor, their grip strong.

 

Virei'tus siphons the blast into even more bolts to throw at the darkness.

Xlentia, now confident in her situation, blasts Lux with hypnofire.

 

I burn the hands, continuing to slash at them while staying as a block between them and Zeri.

 

The darkness retracts a little, before forming two giant eyes on the ceiling, a massive pair of clawed hands on the walls and a huge mouth on the floor filled with sharp teeth.

Lux seems unaffected, time not passing to allow the hypnofire to effect him.

The hands don't appear to be affected much by the burning, just deterred a little before they disappear entirely. The ground shifts below you, and you find yourself standing on a large sharp tooth looking into a huge mouth; jumping in probably not the wisest decision.

 

I steady myself on the tooth while looking for Zeri.

 

Xlentia looks at the eyes, and hesitates.
"Fae, switch your target." She roars, darkness seeping out of her mouth.


Ihra looks nervous before jumping into the mouth.

 

He enters the lab, carefully stepping inside.
"So.. what now?"
He looks around the lab, seeing what stuff Rema has laying around.
