Yeah, sure. I go into the shop and ask what can I buy and for how much can I sell my items.

The man begins trying to dodge your blow, but soon realizes it is useless. The second he realizes his impeding death, he yells out some incomprehensible code to his comrade.
Your uppercut hits him straight in the jaw and cleaves upward, destroying most of his face.

The stairs are rather longer than you expected, and when you get to the bottom, instead of seeing a small storage area. you're presented with a huge room.
There are cultists in cloaks, although some have taken theirs off. There's a large map on one side of the room, with a bunch of accumulated markings and plans on it. Tables litter the room, filled with books and records. There's a couple corpses in chairs on one end of the room, and the group you saw are handing what they were carrying to a middle-aged man. Everyone just appears to be busy doing something.

A couple minutes after you go up to the vendor:

Vendor: "Hmm... these gems are made of a quite elegant material... I'll give you 100 Gold Coins for all of them. As for what you can buy, we mostly have low tier magic bracelets and rings and such, along with cosmetics. Are there any of those you'd be interested in?"

 

Eradius: "Show me what you got."

 

Ring of Break Fall [Take no injury from falls <30 ft] - 25 GC
Lesser Shield of Warding [Can cast Rank I ward twice/day] - 20 GC
Hypnosis Ring [Extend duration of charm person by one hour] - 20 GC
Ruby Necklace [Magic Focus] - 10 GC
Experimental Focus Trinket [+1/-1 rank to spell. 50/50 chance] - 50 GC
Ring of Cold Resistance - 35 GC
Necklace of Water Breathing - 50 GC

Vendor: "Here's the 100 Gold Coins for the Crystal [+100 GC], and here are our wares."

 

I try to blend in following the guys that I tailed to get here

 

I take the experimental focus and Ruby Nekclace. I assume magic foci can stuck up?

 

I turn to the other man and jab my mace into his shield.

 

If the shield doesn't break, I try to wrench it out of his hands using my air spear/scythe.

 

the closest thing i can think of an analogue to is wands from harry potter...
wait yeah that's pretty much it except ambient energy instead of the power that's inside/of love or something

Do you think people use 2 magic wands at once without having Very Bad Things happen to them?

Even with your arm strength, the shield doesn't break, though it crumples a little, along with all the unbroken bones in the man's arm.

After Leon's move, you cleanly hook the shield and pull it away, along with half the man's arm.

The group ferrying the item appears to be handing some kind of cast to a man. The cast looks like a key with wings, delicately made. Getting closer, you hear the tail end of the man's words:

" -so, assuming that the two warriors made a suitable distraction, the thief will be arriving with the key and potion any moment now. It's a shame that those evil people took them, but our back-up is a master class thief, so he should have poached the items without notice. "

 

Is the way I came the only entrance?

 

The room is rather large, but yes, the stairs you came in through appears to be the only entrance.

 

Got a better idea deleting the old one

I go up to the entrance and pretend to be a guard if anybody goes by they'll get the good old charm person

 

Therfore I only take the expreimental foci.

I also ask how much could my golden crown be sold for.

You're standing at the top of the stairs for no longer than a minute when it seems like a guy suddenly appears before you. He's dressed incredibly plain, and you wouldn't have noticed anything odd about him had it not seemed like he spontaneously appeared right in front of you.

"Ok, I've been paid, I'll head down now, give the guy the stuff, and then get out of here as fast as possible."

[-50 GC]

Vendor: "Hmm... that's actually solid gold. How have you not bent it by now? Either way, 35 Gold Coins"

 

Dez:"Oh I'm the guy thats supposed to get the stuff the one that payed you was only the middle man"

 

Eradius: "No, idea. I even ran electicity through it. You willing to buy it?"

 

Thief: "Ah, good. Now, just my personal opinion, buy you're all insane and this isn't going to end well bye."
It's at this point that he just straight up disappears again. You don't even see him move, just vanish.

Vendor: "Hmm... this might be a nice variety of gold I haven't seen before if it is that resistant to damage. 35 Gold Coins."

 

I leave as if I was never there

 

And ye were not. You walk back out into the street, unnoticed.

I mean they have excuses with their D&D campaigns and all but still.
