Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Onyx seems a little offended, moving away a bit.

"Yes, um, sort of." Zeri says.

 

"What do you know, then?"

"...How much are you willing to risk?"

 

"Well, I can manipulate time, both of beings and objects. I could freeze a projectile and send it back to it's firer, for example." Zeri explains.

Onyx pounces toward Zeri, before becoming frozen in the air as she moves away from Onyx, a little surprised.

 

"I'm sorry about her... but, as long as you prove to be a skilled chronomancer, you may find friends in the Chrono draconians."
Pause.
"Except for that we're the only ones here."

 

"I have a lot of friends and family who would be devestated if I would be gone. So.. risking my life would be a big thing."

 

"Well, I'm trying to prove my training hasn't been for nothing to Temporus, which is why he sent me here." Zeri says happily, moving back a bit before unfreezing Onyx, letting her fly toward the ground.

 

"...I have a suggestion." Another voice echoes.
"Rema, enough of your torment."
"No, please... will you hear me out?"

"Well, I wish you luck! Hopefully we don't need to fight, but... I know a much riskier place you could possibly prove yourself if Lux doesn't make it here."

 

"You're Rema?"
He looks around.

 

There's a red serpentine dragon slithering nearby.
"Yes... I am the one they call a witch. I ask for you to hear me out."

 

"Good ahead. Not that I'll take advise from a witch."

 

She scoffs.
"If you don't want to listen to me, fine. However, I know the demon who cursed you... and I can arrange a meeting. Of course, you won't take advice from a witch..." Rema says, offended.

 

"Um, where's that?" Zeri asks.

 

"I wasn't cursed! My father was and it got passed over to me."

 

"...Don't go to the front lines here. We could use the help, but it's too risky."

"...That means you're cursed."

 

"I-I'm not one of those war-type faeries..." Zeri admits.

 

"But I wasn't 'cursed' directly."
He smiles.

 

"Well...hopefully we'll be okay anyways."

"I sure hope so..." Zeri says, a little nervous.

 

"All I can hope is that Lux doesn't get through to us."

 

"I can control it. I controlled my abilities yesterday."
