Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I just start looking the same way Ihra is, preparing.

 

"It has become yours."

 

The glow fades a bit as Ihra stares at it, and it appears to be a faerie with a clock around her neck, looking around a bit nervously.

Onyx is startled awake, confused a bit before noticing the faerie and staring at it too.

 

Ihra pauses.
"...Hello?"

 

The faerie seems a little startled, looking at Ihra.

"Oh! Hello! Are you um..." The faerie says, before taking a note out of her pocket, "...Lhra?"

 

"Ihra... not Lrha."

 

"So it was his curse, and now it's mine?"
He looks in front of him.
"What happened after he visited Rema?"

 

"It stopped being his curse, and began being yours."

 

"When did it get passed over? What age was I? Because I know I didn't have it when I was born."

 

"Oh, you had it. It simply waited, dormant."

 

"That sounds logical. I never used it after I fled Aurilon."

 

"Used what?"

 

"I never noticed any of my lycanthrope abilities after I fled Aurilon."
He looks up again.
"Does that make sence?"

 

"No... but I do want to ask you one thing... how much are you willing to risk to relieve yourself of this curse?"

 

"Well.. that's the thing. I don't think I want to get rid of the curse. I just... need help controlling it."

 

"Oh, right. Sorry," The faerie apologizes, "I'm Zeri. I've been sent by the God of Time, Temporus, to assist you with defense against the God of Light, Lux. I-I'm kind of new to this kind of situation, if I'm being honest. Temporus said this would be a great way to prove myself though!"

Onyx seems ready to pounce toward Zeri.

 

"The curse is you being unable to control it."

 

"So if I get rid of the curse, would that mean I still have my lycanthrope abilities?"

 

Ihra taps Onyx, wiggling her finger.
"Thank you... do you know how to fight?"

He looks up, smiling.
