Decent Bow?

My main account is getting close to 100 I decided to get a mythic/legendary bow. Can you guys recommend one? (Under 3stacks of le)

 

Freedom is good imo, all elemental dmg types and a slice of neutral, great bow all around.

 

Gale's force and cluster are probably your best bet.

Az is a lot of fun

 

As far as mythics go, you have 4 options. Az, Freedom, Grandmother, and maybe a bad Ignis.

Az is decent but you can get almost the same damage by putting on 4 tier 6 thunder powders.

Freedom is the best rainbow bow in the game if you like rainbow weapons but I wouldn't recommend using it as your main weapon for obvious reasons.

I've never tried Ignis before so I have no idea if tank archer is good or not, but if it's as bad as other people say then Ignis isn't worth your time.

I would recommend buying a grandmother, from what I've heard it's a fun weapon to use. The gimmick is clever (If you haven't figured it out yet, you're supposed to put rage on your armor and the negative hr will steadily damage you for more damage. You could always cancel out the negative hr by doing something like Hetusol+Golemlus Core, but then you'll lose damage.) Not to mention that grandmother is probably getting a buff in the next update, so...

 

Hm... Well it wont be the best bow, and it does require a chance to get it. But I would recommend a Stinger, I have yet to use it but I think I found something to cancel its absurd Attack Speed down. All you really need is a Stinger, then another bow with a Normal/Fast/Very Fast Attack Speed. Just shoot Stinger once, swap to one of those two, then fire with that, swap to Stinger and it should be use-able. Or at least I think so at least.I have yet to try this but I am very close to using a Stinger... Now if only I could get the stupid Slider...

 

Has it been fixed or such? If so, then just do a Poison Stinger build, it really hurts.

Are rainbow weapons bad?

 

If used correctly, no.

 

What do you mean by used correctly? Is there a way to use it incorrectly?

 

They are for pvp cus like 90% of builds are rainbow slaps

 

So if I wont pvp at all and only pve rainbow builds are sort of useless. Im I correct?

You have it the opposite way around. If you don't pvp at all and only only pve, rainbow builds are pretty good.
