The same thing happened with all these fire powders too ;-;
Edit: Its broken for water powders also, I think earth powders are the only ones that are safe.

 

Ill look into a fix for this. Though i have no idea how this happens and why it only seams to happen at frozen heights.

 

If im correct, the powders dropped from flarelings give that kind of model.

yea, can confirm. Powders dropped from flarelings in molten/frozen heights always use that item. When you pick them up, poof, they turn into regular powders. They made it that way, so that when you kill a flareling, its like a surprise to see what powders pop out xD but yea, that's why. I've been grinding at frozen heights since gavel came out, so I can confirm that this is the case :) No bugs!

 

Wierd, i tested in 1.8 and the frozen heights powders dropped correctly XD
Ill ask a mod though and if their supposed to be a suprise ill undo the fix. Thanks for saying! :D

Edit: Got confirmation from Catherine of the content team that it is a bug.

 

After I followed all the Windows OS Steps for installation everything worked, had no problems getting it downloaded and with Optifine. When I go onto the server I arrive at the hub, then I pick the server, but then right when the window pops up for choosing my class the server kicks me out and displays this message 'Internal Exception: java.io.IOExecption: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine' Any clues on how to fix this? I did turn off FastRender with Optifine

 

So you're saying without OptiFine, everything is fine? If so, have you read the Notes section of this guide? It might be related to the Forge-OptiFine problem.

Hopefully, @EHTYCSCYTHE knows what's going on with your problem.

 

Update: The error went away after I restarted my computer, so Optifine and the Mod are working perfectly fine right now, Thanks for responding

 

Just curious does item highlights only highlight ided stuff or does it highlight un ided stuff as well?

 

I believe it also highlights unidentified items.

 

Is it possible to do without forge? (my fucking antivirus acts up on it and deletes it immediately)

 

when I click skip add for windows os it doesnt bring me the picture you showed

 

I am on linux, and the names for items on the ground do show up.
However for whatever reason weapons and Armour names do not show up at all... ):

Not possible. You can't mod (with a few exceptions) without using a mod launcher.

Can you tell me which step you're talking about?

You may have to provide more detail for him to respond back.

Note: I have received word from @Xylium that the new 1.17 Dungeons & Discoveries Update breaks the redesigned Quest Book feature of the mod. If you open your Quest Book in the new update, you will crash. Hopefully, @EHTYCSCYTHE has noticed this issue and will release a fix once 1.17 is released to the general public.

@CringeAura I found a bug that I would like to bring to your attention. The bug is that any time you leave a server or /class that the drop selected item hotkey defaults to none even if you change it to Q the next time u leave/join a server or /class it will default back to none
