The Dagger Of Afk Grind?

I found a dagger, rare, level 85, name 'Sreggad' (yes it's daggers backwards) which have 85% thorns, 42% reflection, and high life steal with a little raw health regen. They do little melted damage, and seem to be entirely based around letting mobs hit you and they do the damage to the,selves. Is this not a dagger based around afk grinding?
I'm an archer and against afk grind btw, but still...

The dagger's intention is to be used in reverse of what you'd normally use a dagger for. Instead of hitting the mobs to do damage, you let the mobs hit you to do damage. It's high thorns and reflection is really just part of this gimmick, though I can't see it being too popular for AFK builds since you also need high life steal and poison.

 

Life steal doesn't work with Thorns/Reflection
