Test Server

Hello there ^-^

I have seen some builders on a server called "TEST".

Could anyone explain to me if that's a Server to build a province or just test out builds?

There is a fairly new position called 'Quality Assurance', or QA for short.


What these guys do is test stuff, and as far as I am certain, that is what they are doing.

There are tons that can go wrong with this server: not just faulty builds, rather the coding aspect to this game.
Such as testing how laggy things can get, or even to test if a puzzle is humanly solvable.

As you probably know, there is a new update expected to come out any time now, (road to Dern) and that is what they are most likely testing.

The TEST server is where the CT goes to die, to put it briefly.

 

But the test server existed before the QA team

 

... No? Dern is not even CLOSE to finished. First off, the update coming doesn't include Dern. The update after that was confirmed to be named ROAD to Dern, implying it might not include Dern itself. The update after that will probably be Dern. That's gonna take a LOOOOOOOOONG time.

"TEST" is just a bootleg server of Wynncraft that deletes your current classes as well as donor ranks. While it is still connected to the main server, it has no purpose as a server and is severely glitchy. Some things don't even work on the world even if they work on the main servers. Only certain people can get on it, but you wouldn't really want to play it knowing everything you had on the main servers would get wiped, forcing you to restart from the beginning with absolutely nothing.

Why do the builders get on it? Who knows. Maybe they like playing the fake, glitchy version of Wynncraft.

I have seen salted on test but looky there.

 

I already posted the same thing on a moderator's profile page. That's literally what it is. It's nothing special and is just a bugged Wynncraft world that for whatever reason exists.

And Salted cannot be compared to anything. He's the all-creator, he can do what he wishes without question. He's one of the only ones who can use powerful commands on main, so he is not a good comparison for this.

 

I have caused a Civil War by making this thread .-. Now I can happily live on forever :)
