Guide How To Capture The City Of Ragni With Minamal Loss Of Life

ok so i did this with troms a few days ago and it went well so i decided to do this with all the towns in wynncraft anyways ragni lets go over ways to get in

The front gate
Ragnis front gate is easily the most travled path of ragni it heads straight into the emrald forest towards detlas. Even though this path is the easiest to use it comes with a unique challenge to getting into ragni the moat. Ragni is one of the few cities in wynn that has a moat that blocks the city from attack. Plus the gate is on the outside of the moat so even if you get in they could destroy the brige and the front entrance wouldn't work anymore.

The right gate
The gate from the right of ragni heads towards the decript sewers and farmland and eventuly the ocean. You can send an army through onto this road aswell and you wouldn't have to many problems getting in so this is a stragtegy

The left gate
The left gate is basicly the right gate except it is dirrectly infront of the pigman ravine. This could be a problem if a rouge pigman or two wandered out and attacked your army it could cuase some injuries and wouldn't be worth it if you could attack from the left with no consqunce.

Once inside
After getting your army through the right gate your inside the city now to find a way to capture it.
Get all your soliders to the center of the town and send a few men into the throne room directly behind the circle. Force the king to surrender the crown. And boom you have captured the city of ragni with minamal loss of life

How to capture every city in wynn with minimal loss of life:

send one player in to kill everyone

send in army to kill the npcs

 

the real way to capture ragni with minimal loss of life ;)

 

what I haven't played in 2 months what is going on capture what now?

 

I was bored and felt like from an army commanders point of view how would i go about capturing ragni

Go in from the gate towards the Decrept sewers. Its not heavily guarded and has the farms, so they will starve If they dont surrender, and you dont have to worry about food for your men.

 

They still could flee from the left gate ( pigman ravine ) or sewers

 

The point was to take over, not kill everyone. It accomplishes that.

 

By the way why dont you just take a group of well trained assassins and send them in over the mountains and then have them sneak past the guards of the king and thus capturing the king (which basically means that the city is yours) without killing a single person?
Edit: oki so insane boredom lead me to this ._. (And larz wondering why i was going to explain it in a discr00d chat ;-; ) so this is a quick guide to how to conquer wynn i guess (except troms because i have yet to think about that one) Above i already explained how to conquer ragni. Right after getting ragni it is absolutely vital that you blow up "The Passage". Another very important part is negotiating with the Bandits outside of Almuj because you need them to attack Almuj on your say so. The bait is that you ll make it look like they can have 50% of the loot of all the cities that are captured during this conquest. This is very profitable for them. Especially since they know that they can take on the Almuj soldiers.

Once that is done the stage has been set. Next up you ll attack all the houses and farms around detlas and make the farmers and villagers flee into town. Now all you need to do is wait with your armies outside detlas and block all 4 exits. That way eventually the city will run out of food supplies and they have no choice but to surrender.
The reason why you can do this is simplicity in itself. Almuj soldiers cant attack you since they are busy with the bandits and should they leave the town it ll be captured immediately. Ragni cant send help since you captured it before already ;D and troms army cant go out through their front entrance since they ll be too exhausted for fighting your army. They also cannot get through the passage and fight their way through the ragni army since the passage is completely destroyed and both digging through and going over the top of the mountains is both suicide. If the latter wasnt then ppl wouldnt have created the passage in the first place.
As for Almuj... this one is even easier now that detlas is gone. Both the almuj soldiers and the bandits are severly weakened from their battle. This allows you to get rid of both in one swoop. And the best part is... the ordenary farmer wont even resent you for what you did there because often the normal people dont care about who rules them as long as they can live rather well. And with you killing the badits their life is MUCH better since they dont have to fear getting robbed 24/7.
As for Ternaves Nesaak and especially Nemract... these towns arent even worth mentioning since they struggle a lot with mobs already so marching towards their town should already be enough for them to surrender.

What about rymek and lusuco?

 

fair point i forgot about those for a sec my bad ._. about rymek... can we take that super serious? its just a blackmarket town so they dont mind if the ruler changes as long as they are left alone i think? and if you want to get rid of the black market there all together hmmmm maybe destroy the stone layers above them? (the ones that form the canyon) and thus obliterating literally the entire town.
Lusuco is well guarded... i got to admit that... BUT they still struggle i think howeverrrr if you dont like that solution then i have another one...
