Cata's Getting Nerfed????

How will they nerf cata? Because i got one, (a terrible one). Will they nerf the damage or what?

Selvut has noticed us in a discord chat that he will be rebalancing all mythics. That's all we know.

 

Correct. He has stated on the forums that he has Rebalanced the Mythics, and on Discord that he will rebalanced all mythics.
So, an above average mythic like Cata will probably be nerfed a bit, yeah.

The only way to re balance mythics is the buff under powered ones. If they start nerfing weapons that are insanely hard to get they will lose player base. Especially ones that are worth butt tones of LE on the market.

 

flameshot hilt is gonna become way more popular after the rebalance comes out.

Well then they need to make them easier to acquire because you can't Nerf an item as hard to obtain as mythics in this game and then expect there to be no backlash. I just wish mythics had never been implemented then you would not be stuck in this Paradox, haha, see what i did there?

 

Sellbutt said that all mythics will be rebalanced so yes, It's not possible for Cataclysm to be buffed so it will be nerfed for certain.
We don't know what the nerf will be, Maybe little, Maybe harsh, Maybe somewhere in the middle.
From what I can estimate it will probably be a slight damage nerf and maybe an increase of -health.

 

Yes i see what you did there ._. You didnt quote me dats what you did .-. Also yeah there might be a backlash BUT its necessarry. And there is no need to make for example cata more common beacause.... Firstly if it is on the same level as the more balanced mythics currently are.. why tf should it be more common then them? It would still be better lol. And secondly making it more common would enrage the ppl that spent a zillion stacks on it even more because that would mean its proce would drop even further lel

 

Dmg reduced to 200 and speed to super slow. You heard it here 1st.

 

Inb4 they nerf pure and give it a max spell dmg of 300% and buff cata and give it the thunder damage bonus of "the specialist".
Now THAT would be a rebalancing.

Well guess I better hold my breath, considering cata is my only mythic and I got it without amadel abuse this has me greatly concerned.

It's broken overpowered currently. Mythics are really good and serve unique purposes for the most part. Because it might be nerfed to where it should be isn't grounds to make it more common..
