Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Unfortunately." Katie says.

"Who wants to go to disorientation station first?" I ask.


"I never noticed you had such pretty eyes before, no wonder Abigail looked up to you." Shadow Stephanie says, getting up and giving Ruby a sincere hug.

 

Ihra shrugs.
"I just got back from being stuck in a box. Let's go shove myself in another three-dimensional shape!" She exclaims, rushing into one of the spheres.


Ruby doesn't hug back, shivering a bit.
"...They're not mine." She sighs.

She vanishes before Shadow Stephanie can respond.

 

"You should see some of mother's four-dimensional ones!" Stephanie says happily, before Ihra's launched off through the tubes.

Ihra is momentarily dropped out of the tube into a thin room full of pegs, Ihra bouncing off of each peg before eventually landing in a small hole labelled '75' at the bottom, other holes lined next to it with increasing and decreasing number values, another tube at the bottom of the hole.

After being thrown around the tubes a bit more, and being sent through more wacky rooms that feel like games, Ihra is deposited onto a table in a room full of potions, various huge ingredients scattered about near to a few tools to modify them.


"A-Abigail...?" Shadow Stephanie says, unmoving.

 

Ihra looks around, moving in order to not get hit by other orbs.


Silence.

 

The sphere moves quite well with Ihra inside, though getting out would probably be better.

Colourful potions are stacked up on shelves around the room, some swirling with colours, others in oddly shaped bottles. A lot of the room seems to be reinforced with metal and other strong looking materials, and bundles of various ingredients appear to be kept on a separate shelf, other more interesting looking ingredients kept in their own containers in specific parts of the room. The table Ihra stands on appears to be quite solid, a chair pushed in next to it. Near to the tube Ihra came out of, there appears to be a pair of wooden idols, one idol carved into the other, each holding a cup.

 

She goes up to the smaller idol, trying to figure out how to activate it.

 

The idol's arms appear to be a little worn, though inside the sphere, Ihra won't be able to touch them.

 

Ihra tries leaving the sphere, bashing it with her staff if necessary.

 

A part of it appears to unscrew...

 

She tries blinking out of the sphere, unscrewing it if that fails.

 

Ihra easily blinks outside of the sphere, her blink much more powerful than she's used to.

 

She smiles, absorbing a few charges into her staff before tinkering with the idol.

 

The idol responds a bit to being touched on one arm, though nowhere else. The cup has a few drips of green liquid in it.

 

She touches the one arm until the cup is full, drinking the liquid mostly out of curiosity.

 

By the time the liquid barely covers the bottom of the cup from the drips, Stephanie, Katie and myself appear to have arrived. I seem to be staying behind with a nauseous Katie as Stephanie walks over.

"You're meant to put both of your hands on the idol's arms." Stephanie informs, smiling.

 

"Oh..."
Ihra does as told.

 

The green liquid pours from the idol's mouth, filling the cup quite quickly.

 

Once full, she tries drinking the liquid.

 

The liquid tastes like apples with a slight hint of mushroom. After drinking it, however, Ihra begins to rapidly grow, becoming huge. Luckily, the table and chair seem to be appropriately sized now, Stephanie, Katie and myself looking tiny on it.

 

Ihra, now curious, goes to explore the house a bit.
