A small band of rebels is beginning to form, and it is up to us, WynnExcavation, to stop them. But to do that, the power of the crystals is required…​

Is is currently Day 3.​

To recap on the game mechanics, this is a mostly vanilla game of Mafia with a custom setup.

The game features two crystals, both of which are hidden in the Wynn Province. To search for one, send a private message to @stlast and @Knuckles4212 during the day, stating the location you would like to search. This location can be anywhere in the province, though it’s often a notable location or region (in or out of context). It will be publicly announced at the end of the day if a crystal is found, but not who found it. Each crystal grants a power that can be used at night, and the powers they grant change each night. Even if you happen to have both crystals, only one may be used at a time.

Crystals can be stolen. Each night, you may send a private message to @stlast and @Knuckles4212 and say “Steal from: Player”. If the target is possessing one of the crystals, then it will be stolen. If not, then nothing will happen. If the target has both crystals, only one will be stolen. The target will be notified at the end of the night if their crystal is stolen.

Days will always run from Sunday at 17:00 EST to Friday at 17:00 EST. Nights will run from Friday at 17:00 EST to Sunday at 17:00 EST. If you want that simplified, daytime is during the week and night is during the weekend.

Rules:

A rules changelog is present in the lounge.

1. Private conversations between players regarding the game are not allowed unless created or permitted by the host(s).
2. No quoting, copy-pasting, or screenshotting anything a host says in a conversation unless explicit permission is given.
3. If you are dead or not participating in the game, do not reveal information to other players.
4. If you are dead or not participating in the game, any posts made should be in the lounge thread and not the game thread.
5. No-lynches are allowed, but will lose in a tie.
6. During the night, do not discuss game information unless it is in the rebel (scum) chat.
7. You may not edit or delete any posts you make in the game thread.
8. If you are inactive for two full phases, then you will be replaced. Inactivity means that you have not posted in the game thread (or a game conversation, if one is given to you), have not performed any actions, and have not informed at least one of the hosts of your absence beforehand.
9. The word of the hosts is final.
10. All mafia & forum rules apply.

Once upon a time, in the glorious and peaceful province of Wynn, a company by the name of WynnExcavation was founded - yes, that’s us. Our one goal from the beginning was to search the ancient sites of the province for long-lost artifacts to bring back to the present.

However, some people don’t like our honorable motives and have chosen to rally against us in secret. The fact that they’re being so secretive must mean that they’re evil themselves - why live double lives if they’re so proud to be “rebels”?

Luckily, they are too disorganized and weak to pose a threat to our company. Well...not until now. Word has it that a collection of rebels have infiltrated our company and are posing as workers while they undermine our very foundations.

We called in eleven trusted members of the company to investigate the threat - @Zombie kthen, @lego_man724, @Dr Zed, @Gigavern, @Stag2007, @Vbn5202, @Erika & Ephraim, @Cybersoap707, @add air spear, @HM The Nether, and Francis. As the eleven members of WynnExcavation’s new investigation division, you have volunteered to leave your old positions and work full-time searching the company for rebels. On a side note, your old positions have already been taken, so make sure this job gets you the money you’ll need to find a new one. That’s on you.

What occurs if two people look for the crystal in the same location, and it turns out to be there?

 

Wynnex Mafia bucket list:

• Say "Rebel Scum" at least 3 times
• Not get pointlessly murdered twice in one night
• Actually spend time analyzing previous data

Now that that's taken care of, let's get to hunting down our rebels. Humiliating Wynn Excavation and infiltrating us like that. They deserve naught but death.

 

Yes I'm mafia and so are you hopefully, we however are trying to find the rebels here, a good strategy would be to find all of the mafia though... You probably mean that I'm rebel though, placement however is a very poor piece of evidence as a randomiser could've been used

We have received word that one of the crystals is hidden somewhere in a region our company has searched before. Of the other one(s), we cannot be sure. However, we are confident that none are further north than Nemract.

On a final note, we have been informed that some of you have been slacking on the job. To the following:
