Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Your friends? Whom?" Myria asks, hugging Ihra back.

 

"Everyone." She says, starting to glow. "Everyone's so lonely here... please be good to them."

 

"I will, if you do something for me," Myria says, smiling, "Tell Artemis I love her."

 

"I promise..." She says, warm embrace slowly fading into nothingness as Myria fades into the darkness.


The needle cracks and vaporizes, slowly forming a shivering Ihra.

 

Myria smiles, happily letting herself fade away.


"Ihra!" Shadow Stephanie says happily, everyone in the group running over to her.

"Give her some space, guys," I say, gesturing for everyone to move back a bit, "Ihra, how are you feeling?"

 

"A-aj... is... is that you...?" She asks, hazy as she tries to sit up.

 

"Yeah, it's me. Are you ok?" I ask, kneeling down and helping Ihra sit up.

"We've missed you so much, Ihra." Stephanie says, happy.

 

She hugs you.
"I missed you... a-and it was so dark, and everything seemed so lonely..." She utters, scattered and crying.

Xlentia seems more asleep than dead now, breathing.

 

"It's ok, we're here. Getting you back has been our priority since we lost you." I say, before giving Ihra a hug, everyone else joining in and making a big hug pile.

 

She tries to hug back, quickly unable to do anything but cry.
"T-thank you... t-thank you s-so much..."

 

"We...have something to tell you though," Katie says, somewhat nervous, "About how we got you back."

Shadow Stephanie sighs, taking a deep breath, "In order to get you back, we...had to sacrifice Myria. She voluntarily did it, though, so none of us would have to be sacrificed." She explains.

"Artemis didn't exactly take it well..." I say, seeming a little down.

 

"I-I know... she said to tell Artemis she loves her."

 

"You spoke to Myria?" Stephanie asks, surprised.

 

"Yeah... why?"

 

"Well...she sort of got completely obliterated when she sacrificed herself. My mother said that, well...when things like that happen, people end up in an unspoken of place." Stephanie says.

Shadow Stephanie gasps, "You don't know who Stephanie's real mother is!" She says excitedly.

 

"A goddess?" Ihra guesses.

 

"N- Oh...yeah, how did you know?" Shadow Stephanie asks, disappointed.

"She's Praecantatia, the Goddess of Magic." Stephanie says, smiling.

 

"She had a special book." Ihra says. "And lucky guess."

 

"Gosh, we have so much to catch you up on," I say, "Actually, maybe we could catch you up on it a lot quicker..."

I summon the Watch of True Time in my hand, still ticking away.

"Are you sure it's a good idea to be using that? Especially with yours and Ihra's history with it." Stephanie asks.

"Psh, I'm sure everything will be fine." I say.

Suddenly, everyone begins to float upwards, like gravity stopped working.

"'Everything will be fine', sure." Shadow Stephanie says, giving me a flat look.

 

Sivius glances over.

"Oh yeah, Temporus wanted that back." He says, continuing on.
