Have You Ever Been Injured By A Car Door?

Have any of you ever like, ACTUALLY, super crushed your finger in a car door? There is a dent in mt thumb right now. Also I found this image.

 

uhh... why is this in "Your Work"? I think this should be posted in Nemract's Bar.

 

It's because I have no taste in what type of sauce is on my food.

 

this isn't a car door story

but

a year or two ago, i was going to one of my maths classes and i went to grab hold of the main door into the building where my maths class is located.
i missed the handle, my finger was crushed by this really heavy door. then, someone from the inside of the building went to pull the door instead of push it, so my finger was crushed even more.

unfortunately, i had a maths test on that same lesson and it was my right thumb that had been crushed. it was throbbing through the whole test and it was a cold day so it felt even worse.. luckily i managed to finish the test and i got a great score (can't recall what but it was in 90's).

my friend recently got his finger crushed in a door and his whole thumb was black for about 2 months.

 

Not exactly injured by a car door, but a few times I had the idea of sticking my hand in between the door hinges.
It didn't go very well.

 

It happened a few times with normal doors but I was really scared to put anything between the car doors, I thought my legs or arms would be cut off by the door.

Once upon a time when i went to school in a really happy sunny morning but,suddenly my brother opened the car door and the door smack me down
not only that...
Its about 2 weeks ago i crushed my thumb when i opened a car door its still hurt until now

I was about to put my bag in the boot of a friends car when whoever was in thedriver's seat did something that opened the boot from the drivers seat. I had to jump out of the way to avoid getting uppercutted lol

 

i got a car door slammed on my side

 

Got a blood blister from having my finger crushed in a car window once

 

I hit my shin with car doors sometimes

 

I've crushed my fingers in a normal door twice but never a car door

 

Not by a door, but I have gotten plenty of other injuries...
1. Hit my head on the top of the car when I get in(and I'm not even that tall)
2. Christmas is a time of giving, right? Well, one Christmas, a car decided to give me something. Pain. I got my thumb crushed by the trunk. Thanks TOYOTA
3. This is really stupid... I got hurt... By a seat belt. The car wasn't even moving. I was seatbelting(not even looking - what a pro), but like the stupid idiot I am, I pushed the metal part ONTO MY THUMB...
4. Another stupid thing that involves seatbelts. They're made of leather or something of the sort, right? Well, they get really hot when it's hot outside(mind-blowing, right?). Well I put it on before I felt how hot it was. Thanks SUN
5. Similar to the previous one, but it involves leather car seats. You get the idea...
Now that I think of it, I should probably be avoiding cars altogether. I have a lot of bus injuries, but that would be too much to list(thanks, SCHOOL)...

 

I shut a a car door on my leg, I ended up bleeding. Nothing serious

 

One time I was riding my bike down to one of my classes and accidentally rammed face first, full-speed into someone's car door. It was actually pretty funny.

 

I've never had issues with cars, but just a cautionary tale:

Elevator doors only immediately re-open if you put pressure on them, it takes longer if you only place something between them. So yeah, don't put your head between elevator doors.

Just putting that out there. It happened to an... acquaintance of mine.

When I was a kid I smashed my fingers in a car door, didn't break anything but hurt a lot lol
As well my dad broke a finger in his car door once and he never went to get it fixed, it healed on its own just fine.
