    i archived all files that i had since 2013, that includes armourskins

    That would be just then a ressourcepack, which changes the textures of the armour, or do you got a different idea how it should work?

    This feature has existed within MCPatcher for a long time, called CIT. I used it myself in my resourcepacks for wynn before an official pack was a thing. If I knew how to actually retreive the armor skins, this would have been done already.

    no1 uses mcpatcher tho since u cant use it with forge

    and the best thing is i might have a stupid amt of armourskins, thanks to HackerCat for discovering how skins work

    Our method of armor skins still works fine, we just didn't think it was a very good user experience at the end of the day.

    why again did you stop the armor skins? like how did you do them? i heard it was done in an illegal way but the way you word it it sounds like you just decided to stop for no reason

    how did you think that? armor skins are way better for an mmorpg rather than classic lame leather, gold, chain, iron, and diamond. it just gives more of an mmorpg vibe to it.

    I believe they were more referring to how you got the loading screen every time you change armor, and how it got annoying really fast. Hell, I think people have lost items from changing armor.

    Unfortunate. Looking cool and awesome while seeing your character progress physically is an easy way in hooking a player. Sure, getting to Diamond is fine, but there is no distinction from something like a Cancer to a Refined Diamond Helmet or something. Guess a work around is probably difficult, impractical or even impossible either way.
