Oh. No, it's a damage type.

For like 99% of everything Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage is exactly the same. Generic weapon damage.

Only some certain things treat them differently. Like Fey Warlocks get resistance to bludgeoning, the Fiend Warlock NPC from Volo's has resistance to Slashing (for some reason), and Skeletons have vulnerability to Blugeoning (because bones)

Temp HP does not stack. So if you had +2 before and you got another +4, you choose 2 or 4, not 6
