Nothing is really happening on the stage. Just costumes getting put on and whatnot. Maybe you should tell the rest of the party?

I'm here. I'm currently DM'ing an IRL campaign, so I can't respond very often.

 

I was gone and won’t be able to respond for a while but..
I won’t roll perception anymore and assume I follow Caligo until he reaches the point where he jumps onto a rooftop.

On one side of the stage is a man putting on black armor with purple markings. He has a big black sword.
On the other side of the stage is a man on his knees putting on a costume that... wait... is that Yevor (@Teh_Swashbuckler)?

Okay, let me get this straight, there is a huge crowd of people, and it’s a beheading.. Okay.

Can I make a check to stop/disrupt the beheading?

So you entered the town and it's basically empty of people. No one in sight anywhere. But there are signs of life, footprints, and stuff. But no actual people.

Part of the group is at the town entrance, part of the group (Heat, Althaios, and Caligo) went exploring.

 

Can I follow the people that went exploring?

 

Sure. Let me catch you up.

Spoiler: Erevan

Basically, they explored the south side of the town and found the reason the whole town is empty. The whole town has formed a giant crowd at the south side of town, with a stage in the middle. Caligo climbed up the nearby buildings to see better, Heat is on the ground, and Althaios flew up to Caligo.

On stage is a performance getting ready. Make a perception or investigation check to see better.

You are at the edge of the crowd, and its a big crowd. You would need some like serious athletics checks to muscle your way through the crowd.

 

Perception: 14 + 5 wis + 2 prof = 21.

On the other side of the stage is a man whose face you have never seen, yet you will never forget him. Tall, clad in black and purple armor that is burned into your memory. And a sword dark as night itself, which you have been cut down dozens of innocents.

On the other side of the stage is a Blackguard. Not just any though.

It's the one who destroyed your village.
