Generic Fantasy - [5/7]

I start at Sbelsah's Spellworks.

 

The weapon shop is a short, wide building. There is an alley on the left side, and the place is surrounded by various houses. You're roughly on the east side of town.

The magic shop has that overcrowded feel to it. The elf lady who owns the place is fiddling with some items in the back. She pokes her head out.
Sbelsah Ler: "Eh? Oh. Hello. Do you wish to purchase anything, or just take a look around? Feel free. Ask me if you need to get something from the bottom of a stack."

 

Dez:''Yes hello, I would like to check on some of my items again if you dont mind''i give her the scroll of ???,

 

Eradius: "Do you have spells that could do some serious damage? Also I'm looking for anything that can enhance my magic, it can be anything; rune, charm, enchanted ring, anything."

 

What ever happened to this?

Leon: (to Robert) "This axe I have in my pack seems to not have any magic ability, so I will attempt to test it again."

I signal towards the alley and look into it.

 

Sbelsah Ler: "Hmm. I think I have an identification item in the back. I'll get right to you once I'm done with this guy."

Sbelsah Ler: "Hmm. I have Lightning and a Delayed Bomb spell. If you're into summons, I think I aslo have a fire elemental scroll here somewhere. If you're lppkong for potency, I hear some super-efficient foci can do that, but I don't have anything like that in stock."

Do I see anything in the alley?

 

There's a door, presumably a side door leading back into the weapons shop. A fence on the far side of the alley, blocking off a small space behind the buildings. For the most part, everything looks normal.

 

I pull out the glowing axe and slam it into the ground.

Eradius becomes Yoshikage Kira.
Eradius: "I'll take the Delayed bomb spell."

 

Remind me to never give Eradius any time-based powers. Ever.

Sbelsah Ler: "25 Gold Coins. Lizardman, your fee is 10. I'll head into the back, identify the thing, and grab the bomb."

 

Inb4 I get stone mask and red stone of Aja and become Ultimate Eradius.

Eradius: "Shit. Hey buddy have 5 gold to spare? I can trade ya for somethin'."

The axe is surprisingly lightweight, and cleaves through the ground. A mild feeling of elation passes through your body, reduced to almost nothing due to your... special characteristics, most likely. Other than that, the red glow appears to be entirely cosmetic, and the axe behaves like a normal one.

 

After all this time I finally inspect the gems that I have.

 

Leon: "It is a simple axe. It would not hurt to keep it."

I look in my bag.

"These objects on the other hand, are not worth the space they occupy in my pack."

I take out the ink pen, cup, and sticks and leave them gently on the ground in front of me.

"I already have a pen, no point in another.. Let us go."

I put them in my beg, because I'm a hoarder. And then I follow.

 

They appear to be 5, ordinary, valuable gems. You could probably make some quick cash if you found the right buyer.

I just got the general feeling that you would be emotionless, or at least pretty damn close. Seriously if a normal person used this thing they'd probably go into a murderous rage. I don't think Leon knows that though.

I begin walking out of the alley.
