"T h e y s a y H e l l o" Amethyst feels.

"N e r v o u s l y" Amethyst feels after a pause.


"Faeries?" The guard asks, "W-We'd accept harmed faeries, too!"

 

"She looks like you'd just rip her apart in a fight. What's so special about her?"

 

"We're lovers, in a way. Don't get confused by her looks, she's stronger than you think."

 

"How are you
Sorry to scare you"


Sapphire pauses, turning around.
"...I told you, this war is ravaging my entire reality. You can take your pick of victims. I'll be back with more suffering souls after this assignment... if I survive." She says, a massive war puppet arriving to swallow her whole, both portals vanishing.

"I'll keep that in mind. She magical or something?"

 

"I a m f i n e" Amethyst feels.

"D i d y o u g e t a l i t t l e a - h e a d o f y o u r s e l f ?" Amethyst feels after a pause.


The guards glance at each other, then at their weapons, before the first guard takes the young draconian into the palace.

 

"Hahaha
Thats a good one"


They groan weakly, coughing up a bit of ash.

 

"T h a n k s" Amethyst feels.


The guard speeds up his pace, taking them to a medical wing were the other wounded draconians are being looked after.

 

"Whats your name"


The other guard finds a weak portal attempting to open in front of them.

 

"V a e l u n" Amethyst feels.


The guard readies his gun, though doesn't prime it to fire...yet.

 

"Im Amethyst
Nice to meet you"


The portal can't open fully, winding up turning into a view-only gate showing a colossal forest on fire, a group of dryad, faeries, and centaur slowly being picked off and collapsed upon by a much larger draconian force.

Sapphire is suddenly visible emerging from portals in the ground, five colossal puppets buying the group some breathing time before one dryad waves her off.
She hesitates, but as soon as she leaves, the same dryad that waved Sapphire off tries to strengthen the portal, desperately looking through before a lance pierces her torso and the portal collapses.

 

"I t ' s n i c e t o m e e t y o u t o o" Amethyst feels.


The guard primes his weapon, firing a rapid burst of powerful rounds through the portal that attach themselves to the draconian force and overload them with energy, heat and light, hopefully exploding them like fireworks, before disappearing like nothing was there.

 

"Is there a lot of fighting here or no
I'm not used to having time for flowers"


The shots are easily blocked by something, but it's impossible to tell what.
How they got through the view-only portal is questionable, but whatever that was going to, it's gone now.

There's a subtle feeling the guard gets that the dryad will be showing up at the palace doorstep.

The guard just goes back to his duty.

If only I could stop scaring everyone"

 

There's a brief pause, before Amethyst feels something being put where her head would be, before being knocked off.

"H e p u t a p u m p k i n w h e r e y o u r h e a d w o u l d b e . . ." Amethyst feels.

"H e s a i d i t w a s f o r H a l l o w ' s E v e" Amethyst feels after a pause.

 

"Whats Hallows Eve"
