Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

She runs her claw up, trying to find the flower itself.


"Yeah. Every single person I've brought you is alive." Sapphire says. "Even the ones much worse than this one."

"Yeah, sure." Ren says, hopping off.
"Girl, stay here."
The phoenix nods.

Ren heads down a scorched path.

 

"You stay too, Anne?"
He waits for her respond and then rushes after Ren.

 

The flower appears to not actually be a flower at all, but a venus fly trap. Luckily, the fly trap is closed.


"Well, we have some more room for them. We'll try our best to help them." The guard says, taking the young draconian.

 

She giggles.
"I'll be here until the sun sets."


Ren hasn't gone far, walking carefree down the path.
"So... if you don't mind me asking, what does it feel like to transform?"

 

"It feels a bit strange in the beginning. You know, when I transformed for the first time. But after doing it over and over, you'll get used to it."

 

Amethyst goes over to the next plant, slapping her tail against the ground to keep tabs on Bea.


"Thanks."
Pause.
"...Let me know if I'm bringing them in too quickly. I hate myself for bringing in tortured souls to such a happy realm, but I just can't care for them."

"I mean, like, after you transformed. Do you still feel things like a human, or do you get other senses?"

 

The next plant appears to actually be a flower, though rather tall with a thick stem. Bea appears to be near to Amethyst, though giving her some space.


"We can handle them. Our goal is to make them as happy as our residents, after all." The guard says.

 

"Well.. I get the abilities of a lycanthrope. Like, better hearing and smell and claws ofcourse."
Pause.
"But, yeah, it can be difficult to remember who I am. But that's only in the worst scenarios."

 

Amethyst feels for the petals, knocking her tail on the ground to check for other people in the garden.


"Thanks." Sapphire says, still a bit shaken.
As she opens a portal to leave, there's a massive purple eye on the other end of it.
"Heeeeeelllllloooo!" Xlentia calls playfully.
Startled, Sapphire stumbles backwards.

"That's too bad."
Pause.
"You hoping the dragons knew a way to help you?"

 

"I have good hopes. I hope that what I was told is true and that the dragons know a way to help me."
Pause.
"And that they will kill me if I can't control it."

 

Ren hesitates for a moment.
"...Good call spending the night here."

 

The petals feel medium sized and delicate, though rather spaced out. Further in, however, Amethyst can feel hundreds of seeds. There appear to be a few other people spaced out in the garden, some with similar body structure to Bea.


The second guard pulls out a light rifle, aiming it at the eye as a red light fires from the end of the barrel to assist aim.

 

"You really thinks so?"

 

She spends another minute touching the flower before going back to Bea.
"Can I say hi to other people"


The eye doesn't notice it.
"U-uh... Can you guys not attack her?" Sapphire says in a hushed tone.
"M-mistress... Uh... good to see you."
"I was wondering where all the sad people went! Who did you find that's willing to help?"
Sapphire glances at the guards, hesitating to talk.

"Here, you're your own worst enemy. There, you could be ripped apart by your choice of dragons."

 

"Y e s , I s h a l l s p e a k f o r y o u i f y o u w i s h" Amethyst feels.


The guard lowers his gun.

"I see, this is your mistress." The guard says, though keeping his gun in hand.

 

She knocks her tail, slowly approaching the nearest non-Bea creature.


"I didn't know she was on to me, I'm so sorry..." Sapphire says, hushed.
"Sapphire? Did Linoa's cat get your tongue?"
"Uhm... no. I just don't think the people who are helping want to be known."

 

Amethyst can feel the person get up from what they're doing, turning to face her before taking a step back.


The guards just watch Sapphire and Xlentia.

 

"I've met some of the dragons before. They seem nice, but that ofcourse doesn't say anything."

 

She slinks back towards Bea.
"Hi"


Sapphire sighs.
"Yeah, I don't know if they really want you here."
"Oh, that's okay. It's really bright there anyways. I look better in darkness anyways."
Sapphire rolls her eyes, sighing.
"Okay. Can you not crash my portal next time?"
"Yeah, yeah. Just checking on you, because, like... I need to you go assist Gaia's forces. I've never seen so many dead faeries before."
Sapphire says nothing, closing the portal and reopening it, Xlentia's eye no longer there as she rushes through.

"Well, they're like anyone. They're friendly, but if you try to hurt them, they won't just sit there and take it."

 

"I'll just ask Anne to stay near and knock me out if needed." He chuckles.
"Who knows."
