Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Amethyst is lead through the palace, until she feels something warm around her, and something slightly sharp, yet also soft below her feet.

 

He climbs on top of the phoenix' head.
"Okay. I'm ready."

 

She taps it with a claw, curious.

The phoenix takes off, circling the island and landing on a mostly flat area, soot and ash getting kicked up as it lands.

 

Amethyst feels something similar to...grass? A breeze hits Amethyst, a pleasant contrast to the warmth of the air.

 

She runs her claw in it, trying to poke her tail into the ground slightly.

 

*cough*
"Ah. That's terrible."
He gets off the phoenix' neck.
"Yeah. This will do."

 

"Better than a sheer cliff." Ren shrugs.

Anne seems to already have been here, curled up under a tree.

 

Amethyst's tail finds the ground a little hard to dig into, though she manages to poke it into the earth.

 

"It is better. I must say."
He walks towards Anne.
"You sleeping?"

 

"Does the palace have a garden"

She lazily opens an eye.
"Trying to. No offence, I'm hoping to keep distance between us when the full moon peaks."

 

"Y e s" Amethyst feels, "W e a r e i n i t"

 

Amethyst slaps the ground a bit with her tail, looking for flowers to go up to.

 

There seem to be flowers all around, some standing taller and stronger than other, more dainty ones.

 

She approaches the nearest flower and gently runs a claw over the petals.

 

The petals feel soft, smooth and delicate, albeit rather small. The petals appear to be closely packed together, quantity over size.

 

She spends another minute in front of the flower before going a few steps to the side and feeling the flower on that bush/stem.


Sapphire shows up with a young draconian laying unconscious in her arms, a hole going straight through their skull and five deep, cauterized cuts in their torso.
"...Is there room for one more?" She asks the guards.

 

"I feel the same way. So don't worry."
He smiles.
"So, Ren. Do you know any place on this part of the island where I could rest for the night?"

 

The stem of the flower feels rather thin, easily moveable. What feels like fine hairs appear to be running up the stem, leading down to it's base.


"Is...it alive?" The guard asks, concerned.

 

"There's a cave a few minute's walk from here. Sometimes, someone's in there, but I don't know who and I only see them there sleeping in the day."

 

"Could you lead me to the cave?"
