Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Shadow Stephanie covers her eyes, only running after Sivius once he's at the door.

"SIVIUS! NO!" Shadow Stephanie cries, tears streaming down her face as she dives for Sivius.

That's the last thing Sivius hears as he exits onto the small island containing nothing more but a door and a bouncer.

"Goddess of magic dropped this off for you, pal." The bouncer says, holding out a large, purple crystal.

 

Sivius takes it.
"I figure it's a way back. Thanks."
He tosses the bracelet back.
"By the way, I really didn't need that."

 

The bouncer shrugs, catching the bracelet.

 

Sivius tries crushing the crystal in his claw.

 

The crystal's magic explodes around Sivius, bringing him back to Praecantatia's islands. The sun appears to be beginning to set.

 

He glances around outside for Shadow Stephanie.

 

Shadow Stephanie is quite easy to see, seeming to have returned to her larger form to get around easier.

 

Sivius partially unsheathes his broadsword to get her attention.

 

Shadow Stephanie doesn't seem to notice. Calling to her would probably be a more effective strategy, though.

 

Sivius opts to leave her alone, opening and leaving through a portal to the Void Palace.


Amethyst slaps the floor repeatedly with her tail, trying to get a feel for where her room is in comparison to the rest of the palace, as well as how many people are nearby.

 

Amethyst can just about feel that the room is on the middle-left of the palace, and a few people are nearby. The floor feels very soft, too.

 

She slaps the ground a few more times, starting to crawl away from the corner she was sitting in and looking for a doorway.

 

As Amethyst crawls around, she eventually crawls into something grainy and fine, shifting below her. It almost feels like sand; or a lot of uncooked rice.

 

She smooths it out with her tail before writing "WANT OUT" in the sand, stepping off to the side, and slapping her tail to try and get attention.

 

Eventually Amethyst feels someone enter, before standing still for a bit, then slowly walking over to her and touching her.

Amethyst feels someone try to 'write' on her through touch, spelling out 'H E L L O ?'

 

She sweeps her tail over the grainy stuff, resetting it.
"Hi"

 

"Y O U" "C A N" "U N D E R" "S T A N D" "M E ?" Amethyst feels.

 

Sweep.
"Yes
Hello"

 

There's a brief pause.

"H O W" "C A N" "W E" "H E L P" "Y O U ?" Amethyst feels.

 

"I want to explore"
