Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I believe you may wish to seek out Lady Tenebrae. She may know a part of a lead regarding some item called the Watch of True Time. As for my power... there is no self for me to use it on. I am the blades."

The lava flow slowly comes down faster, the volcano starting to bubble.

You're in a really crappy place to get stuck in a lava flow...

 

"That's certainly my watch, yes," Temporus says, "So you're a hole in time, physical presence manifested by a pair of blades? Interesting."

 

"It's certainly a bizarre situation." Sivius says. "Now, if you wouldn't mind, I do have other places to be, and the blades wait for nobody."

 

"Who's nobody?" Temporus asks, teasing.

 

He looks around, seeing if he can still run.

 

Sivius smiles.
"You might find out... in due time." He teases back.
"Now, seriously, I'd like out before I do so by ripping a hole in this place."

If you want to sprint down a steep volcano straight at sharp, slippery rocks at the shore, yes you can run.

Kind of sucks to be you right now.

 

"Anne?!"
He backs away slowly. Trying to get down from the volcano without falling.

 

The door opens behind Sivius, another Temporus standing by it.

"Just leave the way you came in." Temporus says, gesturing to the door.

 

Sivius waves, heading back out, before stopping in the doorway.
"...You ever had Spectre's Blood?"

There is no slowly. It's either down a really steep ramp, or stay in the cave and hope.

The lava flow begins to thin out, ending already. It's hard to breathe, but not too bad.


Suddenly, a giant phoenix rockets out of the volcano, scorching heat blinding you for a moment.

 

"No, though that seems rather torturous to torment the already dead." Temporus says.

 

"Oh no. That's can't be good."
He looks for any sign of Anne from where the Phoenix came from.

 

"Spirits are their own beings." Sivius says, rolling the bottle towards Temporus as he leaves.

The Phoenix soon lands on the top of the volcano, Anne skating down the barely-liquid magma.
"Found the phoenix!"

 

Temporus picks it up, looking it over.


Sivius bumps into (a) Shadow Stephanie on his way toward the exit, and she glances around at him, annoyed.

"Hey, watch whe-...S-Sivius?" Shadow Stephanie asks, shocked.

 

"What did you do? It sounds like it's angry."

 

It's a bottle with semi-spectral fluid in it, marked "-30 PROOF"

He waves, continuing on.

"I woke it up. You wanted to meet it, right?"

 

"Yes. But.."

 

Temporus stores it away for later use.


"W-Wait! Sivius! W-Where are you going!?" Shadow Stephanie asks, beginning to tear up, "Please, don't leave me again!"

 

"...But what?"

He pauses.
"You were the one who put me aside." He says, continuing on.

 

"W-What? H-How could you say...No, Sivius, please! I don't want to lose you again!" Shadow Stephanie says, sobbing, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry for anything I did wrong! I-I brought flowers to your grave every day!"

 

Sivius pulls his broadsword from the sheath just a bit, the flash of light meant to buy him time to leave.
