It shows an outline, the figure uncloaking.
"Ah, you are indeed keen." A sapphire draconian says, looking down at them from the ceiling.

 

"Alright. Time to explore this island."
He gets of the Leviathan's back.

 

You jump onto a slippery rock, Anne using magic to dry off the rock she jumps on.

 

A beam of energy grabs the draconian, before forcing them to the ground in front of the king and queen.

"What are you doing sneaking around?" Solus asks, suspicious.

 

He loses his balance and tries to correct himself.
"Wowo.. ah.."

 

Their armor resists it, using their wings to slow their landing.

"Ali's important. I can't just let her go off exploring new places without any kind of escort." She says.
Pause.
"My name's Sapphire, a commander in Mistress Xlentia's forces. Stealth ops and recon. I also love puppetry. I planned on showing myself after Ali was safely out of this realm, but I let my guard down once I saw how hospitable you were to her."

You slip, falling against the rock.
Ow...

Anne starts drying other rocks.
"I can't heal irritation. Come on, get to a flatter area and I'll heal your sores."

 

"Well, you've no reason to be so stealthy around us. We mean you no harm." Lielia says.

 

"I know that now, which is why I'd like to apologize. Your predecessors intended to rip a hole between realities to beseige ours. A change of heart is beyond welcome news."

 

"They were not our predecessors, they were us before our god Lux showed us the correct way," Solus says, "We were...quite horrific back then. We treated honorable forest guardians like our slaves. "

 

"Coming."
He gets up and walks to Anne, feeling a bit dizzy.

 

"You learn from your predecessors, though I will respect your rejection of their despicable ways."
Pause.
"If it's any redemption, I can answer most queries you may have on the situation in the other reality."


Emerald rushes back to the lab, hoping Praecantatia's there.

You almost slip on another rock, but you make it to a flat.
"Okay, lay down. Come on."

 

"We'd...rather stay out of it, personally." Lielia admits.


Praecantatia is still in her computer lab, working on her computer.

 

"Why give her false hope, then?"


Emerald hesitates.
"Hook me up to the machine again."

 

"We'll do what we can to help the refugees, but we don't want to be involved with any wars." Solus says.


"You're ready for another session?" Praecantatia asks.

 

"Okay, understood."


"I have one faint trace I think I could follow."

 

"Yeah..."
He lays down on his back.

 

"Had you come here when we were more...aggressive, we may have loved to join in your war, but we're different now." Lielia says.


"Are you sure you're ready? I don't want to overexert you and hurt your mind." Praecantatia asks kindly.

 

"That's not important now."


"I'll give it a shot."

She starts walking over you again.

 

"God. Now I'm gonna smell again."

 

"That's true..." Lielia admits.


"Well, you know what to do. Just put the helmet on." Praecantatia says, pointing to the helmet Emerald wore last time.
