So lemme get this cleared out as possible:

AFK grinding mobs, like being afk in a party slaughter, cactus build, etc. is banned, and how is this related to Amadel/what is amadel farming/grinding specifically?

I've been cluttered with schoolwork and am still surprised an update isn't here just yet (tho i bet it's a hallowynn update at this point).

So Amadel farming is basically when users farm Shadow Amadels.
People were upset that this was happening (more so that people were AFK farming, killing the mobs while afk with thorns/reflection builds) so I implemented a rule that bans this.

 

Now what we need is a quest that you need to waste many, many le to complete to fix inflation!!! We're halfway there to fixing the market guys!!!

so, if I were to grind but was actively grinding Amadel, hypothetically, I would be banned for grinding the specific mob, right? Or is he ok for the slaughter, but so long as i'm actively murdering them.

I just find it interesting that we are out right banning a mob from grinding, very unique thing, so I just wanna make sure that in the event I want to grind here, and like it, I don't get my account banned.

Yes it's a peculiar thing, but it's because of the loot that is obtainable, you're not supposed to get loot from the mob and that is the other side of the bug that people are abusing. Which is something that we do not want.

 

You cannot grind at amadel at all. The only reason why it's banned is because the mobs aren't suppose to drop items and since they're so low health and they spawn fast, it makes it able so that grinding is quick and easy.

 

Mythics were a bad idea imo, they broke the economy

 

I am working on a idea for remaking obtaining them, over this 0.000007% drop chance or whatever it is.

Still ironing out things a bit and planning for every mythic, will require a lot of coding which we don't have atm.

 

It won't fix anything, too many mythics are already flowing the market

 

is this all because of afk farming? because if so it should be allowed as long as they arent afk (you know, actively killing the enemies and moving)
