Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Would you mind bringing me to them?" Ali asks, lifting her hood slightly.

 

"Sure, they're right here." The man says, pointing at himself.

 

She smiles.
"In that case, would you mind helping me enter the realm of light?"

 

"Sure thing." The man says, clicking his fingers.

A bright portal opens up beside the man, a little hard to look at.

 

Ali waves a glowing hand in front of her eyes, walking through the portal and waving as she dims her vision.

 

Ali is hit by a blinding light, before her vision adjusts.

Ali finds herself outside a colourful city, standing just outside a thick green forest. It's a rather sunny day, various people bustling about within the expansive city, all looking busy, yet oddly human.

 

She approaches the city, curious and feeling refreshed.

 

An armoured guard waits by the city gates, smiling.

"Welcome!" The guard says happily, opening the gates for Ali.

 

"Not persee. Someone already owns him."

 

"Thanks!" She says, bowing before walking through and looking around.

"You still wish you could have him as a pet, don't you?"

 

The entrance to the city seems to be lined with various clothing shops and fabric sellers, all colourful and attractive. A couple of radiant children run past Ali, laughing as they chase each other.

 

"I already have some companions. But the more the merrier I guess."

 

Ali looks for a palace, heading deeper into the city.

"A dragon would be useful."

 

A large palace overlooks the city, glistening with colours. As Ali heads deeper in, she notices a few forest guardians walking about, their green eyes contrasting the blue of everyone else's. None of the forest guardians Ali meets appear to even be short of happy, either.

 

Ali heads towards the palace, curious.

 

"It would. But maybe if I'm lucky, it will happen later. I can't take him away from his new owner without telling her."

 

Once Ali reaches the palace gates, they appear to be open, children and adults playing in the luscious gardens within. A happy forest guardian couple appear to be showing their child how to grow exotic flowers, the child struggling at first before clapping once he gets it, his parents praising him.

 

"Well, duh. That's kidnapping."

Ali smiles, more out of worry than joy as she looks to enter the palace.

 

The doors to the palace appear to be open, a young woman happily chatting with the guard on duty by them.

"Um, excuse me, miss?" A teenage girl with electric blue hair asks Ali.

 

She turns to them, cloak still on.
"Yes?" She asks.
