Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Leviathan, be sure to wake me up when we arrive."
He closes his eyes.

 

Screams can be heard from the portal, mayhem arising as the local fauna starts killing each other.
Emerald and Ruby glance at each other, grinning as they get ready to enter the portal.

You find Sgavrinn nuzzling you.

 

"Where did you come from."
He's a bit startled

 

"Where you in control of your actions here?" Praecantatia asks.

 

"Somewhat. I knew what I was doing, but couldn't stop doing it."

He acts asleep, then nuzzles you again.
Another dream.

 

"Interesting." Praecantatia says, typing up a few more notes.

 

Emerald watches Ruby fall in, vaporizing legions of various armies and absorbing their life force for her own, eventually sending a pulse down through the ground that exterminates absolutely everything underground.

 

"Why do you keep visiting me in my dreams?"

 

Praecantatia doesn't judge, simply taking notes.

 

He licks your face.

Emerald snaps, an odd ring surrounding the portal as she enters, a shadowy draconian holding what looks to be a black hole minus the gravity well forming near Ruby as the two stare each other down.
"...Why?" She asks, spite in her voice.
"Victory at any cost. Know thy enemy. Information is power." Ruby mocks.
The shadow seems furious, but keeps still.

 

"Is there a reason you keep visiting me? Is it about the whole 'present' thing."
He just sits down.

 

Praecantatia looks at the Shadow curiously.

 

He shakes his head, nuzzling you.

She doesn't get much time; the shadow is chained and nearly instantly bombarded with every spell Emerald primed, a scorching crater with wisps of darkness at the bottom all that remains after the dust settles.

The memory ends there, and nothing else comes back.

 

"What can you remember after this?" Praecantatia asks.

 

Emerald struggles.
"...That's all I can manage right now."

 

"Ok, we don't need to do this in one go. Memory recovery usually can take around a few weeks to even a few months, so don't worry." Praecantatia says.

Emerald blacks out again, before waking up in the chair where the helmet she was wearing was kept above, the helmet now in Praecantatia's hands.

"You're free to do what you want, I have to analyse your memories a bit more to help future sessions." Praecantatia says happily.

 

"Something wrong with Ragnyon?"

 

She nods, stumbling a bit before levitating herself out of the room.

He shakes his head, nuzzling you and humming.

 

"Something wrong with this other person whose present you were?"

 

Stephanie seems to have woken up, though is still in her robe-like pyjamas holding her cat plush, watching the TV with her Shadow and Katie.
